Angel's sister
Added 2021-03-13 05:05:57 +0000 UTCI made a couple of side story comics as a Kickstarter reward. Most of them are happy, showing life after Lingering. I like the idea that Angel and Doll love together and Doll getting Angel's shit straight. Angel was a complex character to me, filled with guilt and indifference towards life as time progressed. She wasn't always like that though, as her current personality is mostly due to the fact she had an Ignite removed. In the DLC I wish to show a less bitter side to her. One where she still hoped on getting her love/attachment emotions back and didn't run away from her problems as much.
Underneath all that self-destruction and escapism though, Angel is actually the more selfless member of the team. Willing to off Goldie per her request even though it would be devastating for her, and breaking up with Fox because she knew he loved Goldie more at that time. Pushing Doll away, although mean, was also for Doll's benefit as she didn't think Doll would be happy with her. I don't know if I got that across in the game as much, but what I mean to say here is that Angel is more kind through her actions than her words. And that's why her friends stick around despite her sharp tongue.
