Sophie's Bedroom {Commission for Keepers of the Lost Cities}

This piece was definitely me getting out of my comfort zone with with a whole interior background and little details in the scene but it was super fun to work on. I actually sat and listened to the book series as I painted, so it was cool to start connecting what parts of the story different items are from.
Since this is a commercial commission, I can't include all of the files I normally would but I still wanted to share it with you guys and show you some of the sketch images, and I'll put together a timelapse so you guys can see the process.

2022-10-03 07:28:04 +0000 UTCThank you so much! Yeah, I have for sure! Especially after doing this one, it felt kind of like I proved to myself that I can do it, it just takes a very long time. I don't know how many hours it took exactly but the timelapse ended up being like 40 minutes long, and usually my timelapses for full character pieces are like 15ish minutes (for the long ones). So its just about being patient and committed to actually do more complex scenes! But yeah, I definitely want to try doing more!
