✨New Art//Spring Equinox
Added 2023-04-04 16:58:12 +0000 UTCAs the world awakens from its winter slumber, the arrival of the spring equinox, known also as Ostara, paints the landscape with vibrant colors of blooming flowers and singing birds. A time of renewal and rebirth, waking of light over darkness, and the promise of new beginnings is written in the earth. Rooted in ancient traditions, this celebration is a reminder of the eternal cycle of life and the endless potential for growth and transformation.
I was a little late to get this one out in time for the actual Spring Equinox but at least I got it out before Easter, so I'm counting it as a win!
Again I'm playing a bit with the black backgrounds and the drawn symbolic shapes. The half-Sun in the back represents the equinox itself (equal amount light and darkness).
I think for this one I was craving some Easter and Spring artwork that still had a touch of dark, goth, or witchy vibes. It feels like it could be an interesting design to put on a tarot card or something.
As a side note, I freaking love how the lineart looks in the bunnies!
