🎨TUTORIAL//Digital Sketching like a "Sculptor"

This tutorial is all about my normal process of sketching digitally.  The way I approach sketching is in a very loose and rough way in order to establish a flow and energy in my drawings  I show you the brush that I use, the simple technique, and explain my process through some sketching examples.

I hope this tutorial will offer some helpful insights and ideas to incorporate into your own process, or perhaps an exercise to try for loosening up if you don't normally sketch this way.

Omg! Thank you so much for the kind comment! It makes me so dang happy to hear that the tutorial has been helpful for your sketching process!! That's amazing!! as a side note, would you be okay with me sharing your kind and positive experience in my stories sometime? positive reviews are one of the best ways to spread the word about the tutorials we have here. No worries, if you aren't comfortable with it though, feel free to say no.

I just wanted to say that this tutorial has been life-changing for me. Before this I mostly used a thin pencil-like brush to sketch with, and I was always really self-conscious and insecure about my stiff, scratchy sketches that usually needed quite a lot of cleanup before I could do line art over them. Since watching this tutorial about a month ago I've used this brush and messier technique for all my sketches, and they look SO much better! I no longer feel awkward when showing people my sketch ideas, and as a bonus I'm finally getting a good grasp of painting in greyscale. I even feel good about putting sketches in my portfolio now, which definitely wasn't the case before. So, long story short, thank you for making this tutorial, even if you felt self-conscious doing it!

You’re welcome!! Were you able to find the smooth dense brush? (I saw in my notification the original comment, so I just wanted to make sure! 💗)
