Going back to the beginning
Added 2024-11-24 13:05:10 +0000 UTCIt is time to get Ahri's videos in order. Starting this week, I am working on the very first video in Ahri's saga.
There have been hints of it before. A set of pictures I made for the last waifu poll, then a short video with green tentacles and some other footage. Now I need to combine and expand on all of that to make the first Ahri movie.
As a reminder, the second and third videos of the Ahri saga are already finished. The second is the 'Ahri x Tifa interlude,' and the third is the 'Fox meets Cat' Displacer episode.
So, what did I do this week? I mostly focused on beginning the story of Ahri and the concept of Enchanted Woods, as well as making some scenes near the murky lake.
I also re-rendered one of the green tentacle scenes from the Eevee to Cycles version. This takes quite a bit of time, but looks better. See the comparison pictures above or below.
The result of all the work is a 3-minute video that begins Ahri's story and ends with the green tentacles event. Starting next week, I will work on exploring the capabilities of the green tentacles as they "explore" Ahri in return.
This first video will be about Ahri and the green "things" coming out of the lake. We know that the events that take place here will have repercussions in subsequent videos; the only question is how we will get there.
