Sad Macs

I'm asking for your patience and grace for a little while — there's a lot going on and very few things are working right.

Principally, in regards to my photography, both of my computers — a seven year old MacBook Pro and a self-built Hackintosh are failing. I don’t have the funds to replace either, let alone both.

My photographic archives are safe — the files are intact on my desktop and exist in both local and remote backups. The problem is that I can’t reliably access them, I can’t reliably edit them, and I can’t reliably print them.

I’m hoping to purchase a Mac Studio or MacBook Pro at the end of the month — a major expense far beyond my budget, but absolutely necessary.

In the meantime, I am grateful for your patience, your kind words, and your ongoing support.
