Holden, are you completely colorblind or are you able to see various hues?

I wouldn't know the alternative really, so I'd lean towards no.
The only time it becomes an actual problem is when the color is significant to the show or movie. Like the color of an insignia or "find the guy in the blue shirt" or something like that.
Video games have actually adapted some colorblindness because I cannot at all distinguish between the red and green of "bad guys" and "good guys" in games. Now there are some games that make them farther apart in the color spectrum. Like good guys green, bad guys blue or whatnot.

Holden does being colorblind impact watching shows and movies like this in any way?

when aang is shot in the avatar state if you remember from ep1 season 2 roku says . "in the avatar state you are at your most powerful and most vulnerable. if you are killed in the avatar state the cycle will be broken and the avatar will cease to exist.".. when aang is shot its not even the fact he had died just then but the entirety of the avatar would be dead as well with no hope of there ever being another. not only that but aang was unlocking his last chakra as he was shot hence why he was not aware of the danger when he was struck

The mid-season finale is also a 2-parter.

Just a little fun fact. Not too many times throughout the series is aang referred to as the last airbender but more so as the avatar.

I think the 4 part finale is a must. Anything else would be a bonus.

Holden, you mentioned a while back that you'd be willing to post full ep reactions for specific episodes. Well there's a few in the 3rd season worth suggesting:
4: Sokka's Master
5: The Beach
8: The Puppet Master
17: The Ember Island Players (i.e. the inspiration for the live action remake)
18 - 21: The finale is technically the last 4 episodes, so all of those too :)

It took me a long time to understand what actually happened, but when Azula strikes Aang, he technically dies. That’s why it’s such a huge deal. And because he died in the avatar state, the reincarnation cycle was broken, meaning no more avatar. Katara’s healing water is what brought him back to life.

I'm so excited for your guys' thoughts on Zuko's journey in the first half of season 3. Especially the beach episode. Zuko is absolutely an S tier character through and through.

So the Avatar state is not a state of complete invulnerable it’s actually the opposite. It is the point where the avatar can call upon all of the experiences of the previous avatars and become their most powerful form but they are also their most vulnerable as if the avatar dies in the avatar state they will break the cycle of the avatar and the reincarnation will never come. It’s why that lightning strike by Azula was so shocking (pun intended)

What’s funny is they originally had the story as Zuko being Katara’s ex boyfriend

Zuko is definitely a better person than Anakin Skywalker(Since you mention him accidentally lol) by far.

Here are some episodes in Season 3 that go together: 3x10-11, 3x14-15, 3x18-21 - probably best not to split any of them in separate viewings unless you're okay with a cliffhanger or stopping in the middle of a story.
