The monsters are summonings. They’re all ninja animals. They have contracts with their people like Naruto signed in blood and have an alliance to fight together if needed and other awesome shit

Also, the strong strength is actually one of her abilities. This two are what she relies on in combats. Remember, she is a medical ninja, so don't expect her to have many abilities for fighting, she is a supportive style ninja.
