"Oh? What did you want to know?"
You ask her why she doesn't want to hunt alone.
"Eh? Well, it's pretty normal, really. Hunters usually go in groups. At the very least, they go in pairs. Besides um..." Her expression turns a bit more uncertain. "Well, there have been times when I've needed the help."
It makes sense to you, so you ask her what you will be hunting. She regains her cheerful expression with that query.
"Oh, nothing too interesting. The local boar population is getting pretty high, so we'll be thinning them out a bit. If we spot some deer, we'll see if we can get a couple as well. It's not really that I need help because of danger. Rather, it's because it's quite a bit of work. So, are you still interested?"
You nod to her.
"Great! Meet me near the village gates. I'm going to leave a note for my friend just in case she comes back to town." With that, Amelia heads into a nearby cottage.
A few minutes later, you meet up with her at the village's northern gate. The wind elf carries a fine wooden bow that shows quite a bit of wear. It is obvious she is experienced. Noting that, the two of you leave Yocana and head north.
[AMELIA HAS JOINED THE PARTY]
You quickly head off the main path and into the forest proper. Amelia passively chats with you while noting various footprints that you barely noticed.
About an hour into your hunt, you suddenly hear a rustling sound ahead of you. It appears to be coming from some bushes.
Just as suddenly as you heard it, a very large snake emerges! It doesn't look very friendly!
[LARGE SNAKE HAS APPEARED | BATTLE START]
Amelia looks panicked! The Large Snake appears to be watching you.
