The whole gang basically couldnt possibly survive the situation and it couldnt possibly be real. Its just a side story not following the plot. In cowboy it was a Alien homage this is more like a Zombie homage. Either the gang ate bad shrooms and this was all a trip or its a stand alone episode like the one in Cowboy Bebop. Also ive been having trouble sleeping and this aint helping lol.
