Don't know why, but I feel compelled to defend Alley Oop, it was a super fun comic strip about a time traveling caveman that feels like a 30/40s version of Hellboy. As a fan of classic adventure strips, its on of the best. Pretty shocked to hear it's still going.

Otherwise it’s business as usual hear, as the recent state of emergency only had some businesses shut at earlier hours. Fortunately most game and animation studios are working from home, but many businesses are operating as usual.

I saw a tweet with this image attached saying the Simpsons had predicted the future again. It's obviously photoshopped, the hat and tattoos look completely different. 2021-01-28 01:59:15 +0000 UTCSurprised no mention of Tom Sawyer being on Amazon Prime. My girlfriend's cousin started watching it before coming to stay with us for Thanksgiving 2019. Watched all of it in a few days, and decided to take a trip to Hannibal since it is about 2 hours from where we live. Was a pretty interesting trip being in an interracial relationship in a small Missouri town... but the caverns were pretty cool and we had a cromulent hometown diner meal on our way out. Would recommend the Tom Sawyer anime for anyone familiar with Mark Twain or wanting an older SoL anime.

And I appreciate the narrative...but beyond that, it feels a little hollow...

Creator is a serial sexual harasser of both sexes, and her producer was an enabler who tried starting shit with me when I called them out for some of their hypocrisy when they virtue signaled re: how "exclusionary" Ren &; Stimpy was. It didn't last long, and they deleted all their R&S related tweets.
