Emergency (Minor) Schedule Change this Month...

Hey folks,

It's Bob, here to give you a brief update about a schedule change we had to make for the month of June. Unfortunately, Henry tested positive for COVID-19 this Friday, and is currently feeling the effects of the dumb virus that's made all of our lives worse for the last 2.5 years. He's recovering now, but in the meantime, we won't be able to record for about a week. Thankfully, we've worked ahead enough that this delay won't hurt us too much, but one June podcast is going to have to make the jump to July.

That said, the TalKing of the Hill episode about "The Final Shinsult" will not be going live on June 19. Instead, it will launch on July 17th, along with the TalKing of the Hill episode about "Leanne's Saga." As of this writing, no other podcast should be affected.

We've had a near-perfect track record until now, and we both feel very bad about this delay, but COVID struck Henry at a very bad time—as if it could ever strike at a good time. Both of us have trips planned for the back half of June, and we were ready to jump into working non-stop for the next week-and-a-half to get everything lined up for our absence. Now we have about one-third of the time to prepare, and with another movie podcast coming at the end of the month, something had to be cut.

Thanks for your understanding. I really wanted to cover this episode, and in fact have 2800 words' worth of notes written, and all of my audio clips ready. Anyway, we'd prefer to think of this as us giving you slightly more podcasts in July than us giving you slightly less in June.
