Weekly Devlog: 6 - 12 January 2024

We're two weeks into 2025 and it feels like time is flying past. Last week, I worked on the final Salt Bay scenes then moved on to the Ishari scenes. Irus' dialogue is complete with Elora's currently being worked on. Afterwards, there's only Oren and Anu to go.
A lot of these scenes aren't very in depth on account of wanting to get them done and my brain feels numb after writing different variations all the time 😅 The good news is that we're nearly at the finish line so an update should be coming soon.
Once that's done, I'll work on the side stories for January so keep an eye out for polls regarding the general story in the next week or so.
And then, all that will be left is Chapter 12 😬 I don't know how I feel having gotten to the end except for a lot of pressure since this is supposed to be an epic showdown and if you don't know this already, combat scenes are urgh.
I do want to give players different options on how to handle the final battle, so you won't be forced to fight. It's just a matter of deciding who does what and how the MC will be able to take part in stopping the Blood Guard and Virion.
The idea is that Chapter 12 will have multiple endings (not too many, mind you) by the end of it, which you'll only get to see play out in the epilogue because it takes place six months after the end battle. Expect me asking for a lot of feedback during then 😄
