Weekly Devlog: 3 - 9 February 2025

Hello Patrons 💖 I hope you're enjoying February – the shortest month of the year and one dedicated to love (or in my case, my birthday).

This past week saw Chapter 11 updated for the Nomad tier, meaning that everyone should have been able to play the update. I'd love to get your feedback if you have any thoughts about the gameplay or if you encountered bugs.

I also continued working on Chapter 12's introductory scenes. Salyra's scenes are nearly complete – it includes Danzor too but those will be completed on Tuesday.

Tomorrow's officially my birthday and I've taken a day off from my IRL job and will be MIA from writing. I might write, it's hard not to when the dialogue scenes are so fun 😅

Once Salyra's scenes are done, I'll work on Rana's then moved onto the RO scenes. That will probably take me about two weeks complete – Rana's will be finished this week and I'll probably be able to complete 2 ROs every 2-3 days.

That'll bring us to the end of the month/early March for the first release of Chapter 12's introductory scenes. After the intro, I'll work on the main climax/battle scenes. There are four variations available to you on how to deal with the main battle (and yes, if you hate combat, you can stay behind in the temple to protect/help people instead).

In total, with the skills variations and the different outcomes of each option, there will be 48 variations to write 🥲😓 So I'm not looking forward to that. I'll likely have to break up those updates in two partial updates – each containing two paths to take.

After that, all that's left is the end/conclusion scenes before I start work on the epilogue. It's not a lot in terms of plot but it's still a lot in terms of writing and coding, but if I can keep up this pace, I should be able to complete the first draft sometime in the third quarter of the year which will give me a few months to work on edits and additional scenes in time for a possible December - early 2026 release.
