Hello hello folks. Been a while! So whats been going on? Lets get into it eh?

Thrallworks Game

It's going well now the Guilt Route's out, it's just that route took a lot longer than I thought it would. No doubt when it comes to doing the expressions for the Fear Route it'll slow down again (I don't have enough DESPAIR in the expression folder) but so it goes.

I'm really going to have to spend some work after the release of the demo just to overhaul Ty Lee's expressions. They are important in order for the 'reference' part of orientation work, but they've been the single most laggy piece of this whole enterprise. I'm quite confident we'd be done with the demo already if I had organized expression generation better, or only had some...20 expressions to choose from rather than the 700+ png files I've got!

Anyway. I complain, but it still looks like Fear Route's good for Early December wrap-up, then a month of CG work and tieing the elements together, updating the CMS System for the earlier sections, etc.

Volition

Actually on target. I'm doing the last 5 pages all together, for them to be done around mid-November.

I do question my sanity in working on it though. I mean, I make it, release it, gain interest in it, have people wanting more of it, and then....I don't make more of it?

I can't even say I've 'finished' it in the sense of wrapping the narrative up. Ah well, at least it'll be the first chapter over and done with. We'll decide on if and how to continue with it after it's all out there.

Thrallopedia?

After finishing off the Thrall entries, it turned out there was other stuff to do! So I'm doing that.

What?

Well, Volition and Thrallopedia were the alternating weekend projects. Now, however, we've got two other projects to replace them.

Ponygame

Makin' dat clipclop gaem (Check out the patrons only post for an image)

It hit a speedbump a month and a bit back but only through implementation. Basically this is a small game I'm making through Unity that can be played standalone...but, ideally, will be added into the Thrallworks game proper in due course as a minigame of sorts.

The playable version will have you in charge of just one pony of your selection for a season of races, to train up and etc....However! The game of it I will be running on discord will be different!

Here's how it's going to work development-wise.

• There's 12 ponies (1 already decided on as you'll see in the image)
• 3 of these Pony thralls $5 peeps will be voting on and for to include.
• An additional 3 will be decided on by $10 patrons.
• The remaining 5 slots will be Commission Slots at £75 apiece. This includes the costs for a 'sponsorship' of their chosen pony, as well as getting stills of the finished article.

A sponsorship of a specific pony will also be sold seperately on gumroad (after the ponies have been decided on), costing £15 apiece, and will get you:

• The chance to choose the 'alt colours' for the Pony.
• The ability to pick the pony's training regimin every week in the Discord game and resolve the events that happen to them.
• To pick one of the available 'stable' names to which this racepony belongs (think of it like the Wipeout teams) which will affect available equipment.
• A say in how the pony's 'project file' is constructed- what image is drawn for it, how the Instructor handled them, if they were difficult, etc.
• Access to the 'sponsors' channel on discord (if you're not a $10 patron already) where I'll be discussing and testing alphas of the game before I try making a full-on discord channel for running the tournament.

This will end up replacing the Hunger Games in Discord, and will likely have a similar style and energy to it to spectate, I imagine...except I guess invested people may get even angrier if their pony doesn't do well. 

Also, there will be an option, if 3 people all agree together on a pony, to pay me £5 apiece and share the training/other such decisions between the three of you (as the stats are blocked out between 3 'professionals' in the game). You'd need to contact me seperately to arrange it, probably as individual payments through paypal.

As for which ponies to include in the polls for the $5 and $10 people to vote on, that's up to all you patrons! Basically add a comment to the patron-only post attached to this one with your pony suggestion and I'll add it to the list. You'll have a month or so to make your suggestion before the poll starts!

Cool cool cool. And what's the second weekend project?

Ah, that's a game based in my Movement Universe I'm making with a programmer that's about developing a sexcult and infecting/infiltrating the power structures of villages, towns, cities, etc.

More on that later.  :)

And in the meantime?

In the meantime Hunger Games is still trundling on on Discord, and I'd encourage y'all to get involved in that.

I've also done some scribbled fanart for another hypno visual novel called Penlight. Nothing fancy, but I've involved images of it in the patron-post because hey it's art that I've done and you deserve to see it!

As for Commissions, I'd at least want Volition off the table too, and obviously the Ponies for the game will be commissions. But I do want to start making sets for the rest of the Thrall stages to max out the Thrallopedia, so maybe that's something to look at post Demo-launch.

I do want to continue making content polls for $5 and $10 people too. The pony polls will be a part of that, but I also want to make polls for things like sketch series, things like that.

Oh yeah and $5 people now have access to the Guilt Route. Don't tell them though, I've put it in their update as a surprise.
