TW Update #60 - Foundations!

Phew! Well, I've finally got something presentable!

Added to the Windows version (Mac and Linux I'm hoping to get done over the next couple of days, there's some issues with the build support) is now a 'Thrall Designer' on the title screen, where you can design L-D19's thrallsuit!

Right now it's just the thrallsuit and the skintones, but even so I believe you'll find adequate customizeability. In addition, we'll be stepping up the updates from fortnightly to weekly for a short while, with each update coming with a new area to customize, looking at the following in the near future:

• Hair
• Designation Placement
• Medical Implant/PCU
• Eyes
• Hoods
• Blindfolds & Gags
• Control Collar
• Make-Up
• Glow Hues

As well as organizing and adding more colours, and things like

• Patterns
• Textures
• Save states
• Suit 'Levels'

The main reason for this uptick in activity is actually so I can work on other parts of the game. Working on this has taught me one thing; the UI pipeline is way too thin vs the content that needs be delivered through, so rather than sit on this for another 2 months, it's best to just let it drizzle to completion while we work on more fun and vital stuff like the script and character art.

What this means is, for the time being, we'll be skipping over the Enthrallment procedure in the narrative while I work on the UI and animations for it, and get into the action that happens afterward. As to how that's going to be tackled and how the script will incrementally be added to over these updates, we'll see; either it'll be dumps of completed text, or more likely an 'UNDER CONSTRUCTION' sign'll be pasted up and everyone who ventures past that point can see something rough shaping up.

At any rate, have fun with the designer, and be sure to leave a comment below or post on discord about what section you'd want to see done next; I don't have a numbered list, so am willing to tackle things out of order based on what people most want.
