2022-03-22 23:54:53 +0000 UTCIt doesn’t feel out of character, I just found it funny as no human no matter how hard they try can be 100% logical with no emotion affecting their judgment all the time. Though I liked how Powder shoved his argument right back at him not 1 minute later, and he had not logical way to counter her argument without invalidating his own. Really well played by Powder.

2022-02-22 03:24:22 +0000 UTCI don’t think Jace realises he is doing the thing he hates, treating younger people like they don’t know better and being sort of patronising. Powder made a logical argument to him, using the same parameters that makes it not her fault if applied to Jace would also make it not his fault. Being older or stronger doesn’t matter otherwise everything that goes wrong in the world/location can be attributed the strongest and oldest person there and free will isn’t a factor. And doing something he considers bad in Sailor Moon doesn’t mean everything else he does will be tainted with that bad, so it’s a purely emotional argument the exact thing your SI characters dont appreciate other using. It’s like The Doctor said in that Van Gogh episode “The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't always spoil the good things or make them unimportant.” – 11th Doctor.
