Great chapter and good set up so far for the next one! Also Port is awesomeness this! Really like his characterization so far as the old guard who has done everything and enjoys telling the next gen about it!

Considering that the Grimm are actively drawn towards negative emotional centers, it could be inferred that psychological care is either an entirely unexplored field of care, too risky to be worth it, or even less of a priority than it is IRL. None of which is useful to jauncifer.

Granted it’s kind of weird of him to just expect people to believe he is a dragon due to showing them something amazing like the pocket dimension and binding becomes there could still be a joke in there somewhere for levity. Like if someone acted in a way that found amusement in people calling him a Dragon or not calling him one it would be easy to misunderstanding. Anyway I am happy that is cleared up, I asked this exact question 2 or 3 times before and never got an answer (or at least I don’t remember getting one) so it has been bugging me ever since. It’s always the little stuff that just sticks in your head and bugs you relentlessly.

2023-08-19 17:50:06 +0000 UTCHe only got mad at Pyrrha for not believing he was a Dragon after he Stamped her, told her he had a secret, and then turned into a Dragon right in front of her, only for her to feint, but, after he turned humanoid to make sure she was okay, she still told him he couldn't be. He finds other people not believing he's a Dragon amusing.

2023-08-19 17:08:08 +0000 UTCI don’t know if you are asking me about the first or second thing so I’ll answer both. During their trip under group Lee lied to Blake about her seeing him as a Dragon, and it has been bugging me ever since, as he has been saying he is a Dragon and upset when they don’t believe him. Very annoying as it contradicts a bunch of his behaviour. As for the second thing, he hands his bad to his partner who he is sharing a room with, but Blake and Yang are each in their own room if I am reading it right. Which is weird as you would expect the girls to be more willing to room, but that in itself isn’t a complete giveaway, but it does make you think of the possibility and this reevaluate everything else you might have dismissed. Kinda when you learn someone lied to you or you suspect someone cheated on you then you reevaluate everything and realise the signs were there.
