2023-09-21 13:20:02 +0000 UTCYou shift the way you call people way too fast, this is something you have always done, but this time I think it was over the top. You called All Might by 3 different names within 1 sentence. Idk about others but that is kind of jarring for me to read. Like if there was space (a paragraph or 2) between when these different names were used, then it would be fine. But having it change multiple times in one paragraph makes you need to cut the flow a little bit to reassign your mental tracker of who is the one being described. Specially if you don’t automatically associate a name or a title with someone. Even if you aren’t use to assigning a name or title to someone it doesn’t cause much of an issue, but if you have mentally assigned in your mind who you are reading about, then a different name is used like one sentence later you prioritise the new name over the previous sentence thus making it less smooth to follow the events. This might not be the same for everyone, but for me at least instead of being fully immersed into reading it the flow kept being interrupted.

If this boosts all his quirks instead of just electricity then thats nomu healing, full invisibility, infinite creation because of nomu healing, ect. ect. This would be a major game changer.

2023-09-13 21:01:54 +0000 UTCThat actually seems like a pretty good longer-term solution, but it probably wouldn't help much in the moment. The actual plan seems to boil down to giving OfA root access to his body, mind and soul and letting it get on with it. You'll recall that Body Defence blocked Healing Girl's quirk by default, so it's not implausible that it could have been blocking positive effects simply because they were initiated by the quirk rather than the user. My guess is that this is gonna involve Nana taking over and beating AfO like a rented drum. But that's more driven by Rule of Cool than because it seems inherently feasible.

2023-09-13 21:00:51 +0000 UTCWhy, why a cliffhanger after the super long wait?!?! If we all donate a bit can we (the readers) push the next two or three MHA chapters to the front of the queue? Now an actual review, I liked the chapter a bit short but as an action chapter that’s perfectly fine, I just hate cliffhangers. Very good use of show don’t tell, also really intriguing that Denki is getting the actual quirks themselves and not just emulattions like he though he was. Also that some quirks being sentient/sapient this is gonna be a game changer, it would be really interesting to see which quirks kind of understand humans and which ones have blue and orange morality. I really hope this comes up more and he gets some bioshock mutations going so he is more and less than human at the end of the book/arc.
