I AM kinda wondering if the world DOES actually scale to level like he was expecting it to.....its just that its scaling to HER level not his and she's not gimped on xp gains.

A character developing awareness of them being in a game, or a dream as it is referred to in universe, is part of the lore. And the first step in achieving freedom from the dream and stepping into the wider reality. CHIM is a hell of a drug.

I wonder how ecstatic she would be at tasting lure level cooking. Though he might need sweets home for that (getting actual ingredients), not sure. I hope she doesn’t end up constantly chasing Lee only to be late, no one deserves that fate. This shit right here is why eldritch horrors are fucking scary, they break you in ways that can’t be avoided. This Is officially my favourite after LAUGHTER. Something about eldritch shìt is just fascinating. And while the SAO ones is the actual eldritch fic, it just doesn’t hit the same.

2023-10-03 11:18:58 +0000 UTCthe skyrim yandere route has unlocked for lee as he tries to find a way to make at least one person real and no longer a npc. almost started to think lee ended up in another agents punishment's world and they just sorta forgot bout her and with that other pov it really seemed like it. I mean mind wipe could have happened to em and they just keep repeating the game forever till someone in management saw a skrim world they could put back in rotation.

2023-10-03 11:00:50 +0000 UTCMan, this kinda gave me an existential crisis about my own Skyrim playthroughs. I really hope we get another chapter where he actually interacts with the Dragonborn. She seemed pretty yandere so that should be fun. My first move after Irileth became real for a bit would be to 1) get strong enough to reliably kill a dragon 2)kill another dragon while holding Lydia with the shroud... maybe try it with a more expendable npc follower and bind them to see if it sticks then do Lydia. I don't know if this was an mc mistake but Mirmulnir wasn't resurrected by Alduin he and Parthanax were among the few still alive, if I recall correctly. I know I'm being pedantic but it's a piece of lore I always remember for some reason. Overall great chapter! Edit: Forgot to mention, it seemed like Alduin and Mirmulnir reacted to him so I assume dragon soul makes you real, so why didn't Alduin talk to her while she had him tied up... or Parthanax?

And yes, anyone would go mad to this sort of experience, without something to shake things up, to satisfy out innate need for social interaction. Excellent, 10/10, I love it and want more.
