One of the stranger intersections in psychology is that Autistics and Psychopaths actually present closely on ideas of morality. Autists are aware of what morality is in a societal sense but they pick and choose which ones to follow or agree with whereas psychopaths have a no conception of the above even applying to them in their interpersonal interactions. Dope to see that showcased in a story

Man I like Mei! I disagree with people that think she is Psycho, she has emotions and feelings and they do affect her, but it looks to me like she has the ability to turn them off. In the world they live in that’s not a bad trait, honestly it reads more as Mei is in the spectrum of autism (which fits for geni), I really want to see more of the Kanimari, Mei, Mimi, interaction. Yayo is ok but I like Mei more!

Up till the end of the camp I thought Jiro would end up in the relationship with them, likely through getting curious about all she over heard and getting closer to them. It doesn’t look like that is going to happen. It’s a shame, would have loved to see her with Air Bending powers. Specially if she cracks music bending. I might be wrong, but so far we have Fire with Dank, Water with Mina, and likely Earth with Momo. Idk how you plan to play it, but I see Mei as staying without bending, focusing purely on tech. So that leaves Air. And while who ever gets Air doesn’t need to have synergy with their quirk, and it doesn’t need to be used now or on anyone from MMA it would have been cool to see Jiro with Air Bending (granted it doesn’t need to be 4 elements, it could be a repeat of some elements, as it’s bending powers not one of each). Another person who would be interesting to see with Air Bending is Nejire. He doesn’t need to give it to someone bound to him (I don’t think), but I get the feeling he won’t be handing bending to anyone not bound to him.

You know, I always thought that Mei was a sociopath or something. Not sure what exactly, but I remember watching the anime and just kind of being uncomfortable with her character. I'm not even sure what exactly it is about her, but its just very easy to imagine her not being able to empathize with others.

Poor Jiro just got her Mei cherry popped, and she wasn't prepared. Then again I can't imagine many would be the first time they meet Mei, so 1-A is in for an experience to say the least. I admit that it's been a long time sense I've read MHA and longer for watching the anime, but all the music references felt a bit much. Instead of giving us a more in depth look at Jiro and fleshing her out all of the music stuff almost made her feel more two dimensional and gimmicky. Then again the same could be said about teens that age in general, latching onto a gimmick to make them stand out and basing their entire identity around it, so maybe I'm being too harsh.

I always liked stories that dive a little deeper into how quirks actually work, this is definitely up there with a fic that I read that pointed out that it's much more likely that Uraraka's quirk is actually related to buoyancy and not necessarily zero gravity.

I liked that you ended with S5's opening, Jiro was shook up, but that made sense. liked your explanation of her quirk, it always seemed a little off in the anime/manga.
