As it currently implies a ticking clock that is not the primary issue. Him being worried about the innocents consumed by a mutated cordyceps hivemind when he is physically unable to do anything seems to be in character for Jaycifer. He would would worry about, plan for, and then acknowledge that he has no choice but to wait to act directly. He may want to warn the justifiers though. But that was just my thought process while reading.

2025-02-03 22:02:11 +0000 UTCYeah, with Jayce still healing, there was no way they could handle another possible deadly encounter, so it's more some quick checking and generalized warnings, as the problem is still a low-level one, and they don't currently have the tools to take care of it.
