Hey, if you want to see the fractal, go to rendered mode. But I think you meant the Mandelbulb if you're talking about the exponent? If you want to animate the Mandelbulb you need to add two nodes. Open the 'Mandelbulb' nodegroup. Search for the frame called 'wo'. Inside it there is an arccosine node. Between arccosine and divide you have to add: (Divide) -> Add -> Fraction -> (Arccosine) Now if you change the add value the mandelbulb will animate infinitely. 2025-06-05 15:01:43 +0000 UTCI have just downloaded Mandelbrot.blend and opened it in Blender 4.4.3. All I can see is a grey square (and the geometry nodes). I saw your reply to Asher but how do I change the exponent? I am a noob, sorry.

2025-06-01 14:48:50 +0000 UTCHey! I recommend to use a desktop as it's more silent and usually more performant for the same money. For complex high detail art which means usually a lot of polygons, models and high res textures, you need a lot of memory. I recommend 64GB of RAM and as much VRAM as you can afford. I'd say VRAM is even more important than GPU speed. If the scene fits into your slower GPU it will still render faster than a fast GPU with little VRAM. Think RTX A4500 with 20GB of VRAM and RTX 3080 with 12GB. The 3080 is faster but if the scene doesn't fit into it's 12GB it will get rather slow as it uses assets from disk or switches to CPU. For the CPU think if you need high single core for animation for example, or high multicore for simulations.
