BTS Pics - "Who's Afraid of the Experts?"

I just wrapped the filming on my next episode, working title Who's Afraid of the Experts? I'm finally back in my old studio with my old crew after having filmed the last several episodes by myself in my flat. It was quite a challenge to get the footage whilst sticking to social distancing and mask-wearing as much as possible, but we managed! Here are some behind-the-scenes pics for you!
I drew some inspiration from the myth of Tiresias the Blind Fortuneteller for this one, as well as Pan's Labyrinth! That shirt is actually a potato sack that I cut holes in lol. SO itchy!
I got myself a big ol' crystal ball to use as a prop, which refracts light in cool ways!
I did the Illuminati eyes with white, black, and gold facepaint, plus eyeliner
I've hired Nina Richards to do the soundtrack - she's done music for a whole bunch of my previous episodes - and she's made some amazing moody tracks!
I also have a surprise guest coming on! Part of the episode is an interview with a well-known television host and comedian who very obligingly agreed to answer my questions! if you've seen my video on Sex Work you'll know what I'm going for in terms of structure
Honestly, this costume was for like two jokes but we had such fun shooting them that we took a bunch of pictures haha 😂
Honestly, it was so good to be back in the studio and see my friends again - even if we couldn't hug it was really nice to get back to messing around and shooting some great stuff!
It was actually quite hard to make this video funny given the subject matter, which is why I went hard on the shitpost energy for the gags
We really turned the lights down low and let my LIFX throw some eerie green in there, and with the electric candles doing their thing it was <chef's kiss>
yeah we had way too much fun with this one lol
