About the 2 live action movies I'd suggest watching them before Ultimate alien, but if you want you can only watch Alien swarm now cause it is a little important for the first few episodes and Race against time later which won't come into play till later in the series. The animation definitely got better this season and it will be around the same quality in Ultimate alien cause both of the shows have the same artstyle. But Omniverse got by far the best animation out of all series and the backgrounds look very beautiful and detailed. I'm sure you are gonna enjoy it and can't wait for Ultimate alien, but you definitely gotta take a little break cause you finished Alien force a lil too fast.
