One other interesting tidbit I forgot to comment on: In Juken Sentai Gekiranger (the Super Sentai counterpart to Jungle Fury), each of the Rangers there had a fighting style unique and exclusive to them. In the case of Gou (RJ's Sentai counterpart, and interestingly enough the older brother of Retsu (Theo's counterpart)), his was Muay Thai, a form of kickboxing. That's pretty much why Gou/RJ can effortlessly handle their own without the use of weapons like the others do. Cause Muay Thai is extremely lethal

2024-09-25 08:54:45 +0000 UTCThe reason why some of the fight footage looks clearer than the other is because they combine sentai stock footage from geki ranger with original shot American footage which is why some times the lighting and quality is a bit inconsistent, they use stock footage to save on costs.
