[WOTD] Jill redesign - Part 1: Concept

This is the first post about Jill’s redesign, where I’ll show you some references and explain the ideas and concepts I have for her redesign.

To start this post, I’d like to define Jill, but it’s a bit complicated because she is quite a complex woman.

Throughout the story, we’ve seen that Jill values responsibility above all else, and she has always tried to instill that virtue in Bonnie and Clyde. She behaves kindly and politely, and is loving and maternal toward her loved ones.

Some dialogues and scenes reveal that she feels a lot of jealousy when it comes to Clyde, only allowing him to get close to Erika, her best friend.

It’s also implied that Jill has always been a studious girl, with a love for reading and learning new things, especially those she can apply to her profession.

As for her original design, I wanted Jill to project an aura of maternal warmth, appearing as a kind young adult who is simple but elegant in her own way.

Her outfits help reinforce the touch of maturity, sobriety, and seriousness that characterize her.
My goal was for her to look like an "older sister" without being perceived as a "mother."

Like the other main girls' redesigns, I don’t plan to change her background or personality, but instead, enhance the characteristics we already know about her, both in her story and her design.
I also don’t plan to change her facial expression, the one I mentioned earlier, since I want her to continue looking like a kind and simple woman.

I believe a more “voluminous” hairstyle—longer, with more volume and style—can make her appear even kinder, prettier, and more mature.

I’ll also adjust the tones of her hair, perhaps going for a darker black and a secondary color that better reflects her favorite shade.

It’ll be a bigger challenge to create different hairstyles for Jill due to her hair’s color and length.

One of my uncertainties is about the design of her glasses. I might go with something similar to the original, or I may decide on something different. If I can’t decide clearly, I might even create a poll so you can vote for the option you prefer.

As with the other girls, in part 2 of this post, I’ll not only present Jill’s new design, but also talk about some small changes or adjustments in her personal development and her romance with Clyde.

Este es el primer post del rediseño de Jill, donde les mostraré algunas referencias y explicaré las ideas y conceptos que tengo para su rediseño.

Para comenzar este post, me gustaría definir a Jill, pero es una tarea un poco complicada, ya que es una mujer bastante compleja.

A lo largo de la historia, hemos podido observar que Jill valora la responsabilidad por encima de todo, y siempre ha intentado inculcar esa virtud en Bonnie y Clyde. Se comporta de manera amable y educada, además de ser cariñosa y maternal con sus seres queridos.

Algunos diálogos y escenas revelan que ella siente muchos celos cuando se trata de Clyde, permitiendo únicamente que tenga acercamientos con Erika, su mejor amiga.

Queda explicito también que Jill siempre fue una chica estudiosa, con un gran gusto por leer y aprender cosas nuevas, especialmente aquellas que pueda aplicar en su profesión.

En cuanto a su diseño original, quise que Jill proyectara una aura de calidez maternal, viéndose como una joven adulta amable, sencilla pero elegante a su manera.

Sus outfits ayudan a reforzar ese toque de madurez, sobriedad y seriedad que la caracterizan.
Mi objetivo era que se viera como una "hermana mayor", sin llegar a ser percibida como una "madre".

Al igual que con los demás rediseños de las chicas principales, no planeo cambiar su trasfondo o personalidad, sino potenciar las características que ya conocemos de ella, tanto en su historia como en su diseño.
Tampoco planeo cambiar su expresión facial, esa que mencioné antes, ya que quiero que siga viéndose como una mujer amable y sencilla.

Creo que un peinado más "frondoso", es decir, más largo, con más volumen y estilo, puede hacerla lucir como una mujer aún más amable, bonita y adulta.

También ajustaré los tonos de su cabello, quizás con un negro más oscuro y un color secundario que refleje mejor su color favorito.

Será un reto mayor crear diferentes estilos de cabello para Jill, dado los colores y la longitud de su pelo.

Una de mis incertidumbres es sobre el diseño de sus anteojos, tal vez haga unos similares a los originales, o tal vez me decante por algo diferente. Si no puedo decidir con claridad, es posible también que haga una encuesta para que ustedes voten por la opción que prefieran.

Al igual que con las demás chicas, en el post parte 2 no solo les presentaré el nuevo diseño de Jill, sino que también les hablaré sobre algunos pequeños cambios o ajustes en su desarrollo personal y en su romance con Clyde.
