SMA 0.20.1
Added 2025-05-20 04:10:16 +0000 UTCChanges
Save file compatibility broken with old versions.
The player can hire models.
At the start of a new game, the player can change the main characters' attributes.
There are 5 offices now; the option to upgrade the office will be shown every Saturday.
Gameover is back; it will trigger if the player goes bankrupt.
Photoshoot job added.
The player has more control over interviewing models by launching recruitment campaigns at will or choosing who to interview.
Hired models will evolve their relationship with the player. (Buffs or debuffs will be added to hired models; these buffs are generated by the player's actions.)
New emotion added: fear.
Models can walk between gotos; the used animation will depend on her modeling experience.
New idle animations: emotions will affect the model's idle poses.
Can change, save, and load a model's makeover.
Can change, save, and load a model's expressions.
Cheats, single model interviews, complete model profiles, and designers are disabled temporarily.
Desires: Before, the model resisted an interaction if desire was low; now she will remain neutral and will resist interaction if the desire has a negative value.
Meeting a model in the office or at a job session now has "Game Objectives" (press O); complete them to gain experience or payment bonuses.
Fixes
Other agencies unlocking now works better.
Many other fixes I can't remember.
Notes
There is only one job in the game right now; I'll try to add a new job with each update. Locations and outfits for jobs—spa, hospital, comic convention, and art studio—are ready; the logic is still to do.
The new "internals" update is still in progress (it won't be just new internal visuals but a complete simulation); it's a major update. The 3D work is almost done; then I'll be working on the logic.
Modding support for jobs is still under construction.
No clothing modding compatibility was compromised with this update.
The buff and debuff system still needs tweaking; I don't know if it's too hard or too easy to fully gain the favorability of any model.
You'll have to manually transfer outfit, pose, and character portrait files to their new folders (before it was "v08," now it's "v1"). because I can't guarantee full compatibility. The game's old save file WILL NOT BE compatible with this or future versions.
The mods folder location is not changed; clothing mods should still work fine.
There are two or so important quality of life improvements that I always overlook, either because of lack of time or because I keep forgetting about them. I'll try to have them ready for the next update.
There is a mod that adds, like, a photoshoot mode/section/scene and also makes it possible for models to walk. I didn't check those mods out because I was trying to add that to the game, and, well… I didn't want to feel like I was copying some other person's work, you know what I mean… I hope these mods can be imported to the game in the future (with some minor tweaks if there is still support from those developers) through the jobs modding system I'm working on.
Since there is only one job right now, I don't recommend hiring more than two models; you will have a hard time surviving.
Guys, I promise I'll be back to monthly updates (if possible) from now on. Like I said before, I made a mistake trying to do it all at the same time, and this cost me way, way too much more time than I thought.
Known Issues
There is a problem with this Unity version (it's the same version since I didn't want to break mod compatibility), or maybe it's because the rendering config now supports more functions. The RAM and VRAM usage went way up; most of these extra expenses are just shader variants… Anyway, 4 GB is still manageable.
The images from the player's phone and camera appear dark and glitchy, but this issue occurs only in the build version.
Fear generic dialogues have bad grammar.
The end session panel shows too much useless information.
Fear generic dialogues have bad grammar.
The end session panel shows too much useless information.
The player's phone camera may take too bright images or too dark images.
There are some pop-up messages showing useless information.
When loading custom poses, the game can now transition between them without returning to the default pose. However, this system occasionally fails, and this failure is pretty difficult to track or reproduce.
Sometimes custom poses won't load (rare).
Secondary interaction animations do not follow the root bone; therefore, if she walks around and then executes the take-off clothing animation, she will fly back to her original position before returning to her current location.
Genetic algorithms and random generators are now so generous that when launching a professional-only recruitment campaign, at the last phase of this campaign, all models in the campaign may look the same (but hot). This probably won't be fixed. If the algorithm and random generator are less generous, it may cause too much trouble to get a hot model. This will end in players frustrated trying over and over again to get a model they like.
Firing a model may be glitchy.
The game over screen won't go away, srry, just restart the game.
Thank you. :)

I guess it's time to cancel my membership again... He's gone into ghost mode again and we haven't heard a word in 4 months.

2025-09-10 02:44:35 +0000 UTCFound a rather annoying bug: sometimes after an in house session I can’t end the session. I only get an empty dialog that immediately disappears and stay in the session. Probably a missing dialog for some kind of obscure outcome. It only happens after a very long session, which makes it even more annoying. BTW, you should definitely post a short update once a month, ideally with a screenshot, about what you are up to. Not much work and goes a long way…

2025-08-19 19:07:06 +0000 UTCI played it. And just as expected, I loved it. Sure, it's needs some work, but I'm just so happy to see TValle back at it, so all is forgiven AFAIC. Looking forward to the next update

2025-06-08 10:32:15 +0000 UTCAnd maybe you might consider weakening some of the most painful game mechanics. I mean, I get it, the game is hard and grindy and that can be rewarding - but some of the mechanics feel like a kick to the nuts: The russian roulette style dialog thingies: No dialog should lead to instant death - maybe if it is blatantly obvious, that it does - but saying “you look good” and all the grind is gone to hell? Maybe put something like a success probability in the dialog option and at least the option “never mind” to not say anything in case someone accidently clicked on it. And I would suggest kicking up anger to max 95%. Anger should cool down. Very slowly - so that it is still punishing, but it should cool down. Like in real life ;-) It happens too often, that you bump into a girl during the early stages and there is no way of getting anger done. There should be no game over. If your money is up, drop everything that costs money and put the player back to the street. And there should be no rent for the street - who would you pay aniways? Know your audience: most players are not hardcore rouge like enthusiasts. Game over should only be allowed, if you offer a “new game +” where you keep your personal progress. This is especially true with only one save slot! Spiral of death mechanics should be avoided. I’m not too sure about this, but it feels like when your girl gets rejected from another agency and the rating goes down, you are more likely to be rejected. At least I had it during a session, that the girls all went happily to “fitness models” and were very confident about it and got rejected again and again and I was to -97% or something. And the best part: the agency with the bad rating was marked “green” in the overview. - so I thougt "oh, they realy want this girl" 🙂 It seems like those things seldomly get reported. Everybody just uses cheats. But needing cheats to play a game is not a good design and reduces the audience zu ppl that are tech savvy enough to install cheats, More accessible means more players means more money. You don’t need monthly releases to make ppl happy - just release consistently, get community feedback and do a fast second release after the bug reports come in. And don’t enable features that don’t work. Feature flags are your friend. Ok, enough rambling from this old man. Keep at it.

2025-05-29 03:04:25 +0000 UTCThis is really a brilliant game, and I completely understand, that this is not an finished product and has some very fucking complex mechanics, that need to be sorted out over time. Maybe I can give you a couple of thoughts that I had to learn the hard way after decades in the software industry: If a system for progression is still missing - it is always a bad idea to penalise the player at the beginning. Instead of forcing the player to choose between “can get laid but has a 5cm dick and having a decent dick and never get laid” start with something in favour of the player. The whole situation with campaigns for specific model types doesn’t seem to work right now - at least I wasn’t able to get anything close to what I set as the “requirements”. Also, nobody understands which model goes to which agency. So why not turn the game loop around for the time being: Instead of sorting girls out after first meeting them to finance the ones you want to train, allow the player to keep models, train them and get offers after the training sessions from the other agencies. Should be easy to implement and a way better experience for the player. Values need to be meaningful to the player. Instead of having a scorecard with 0-10 it would be more intuitive, to have something like a more or less scale. Eg: “bust: (--) (-) (o) (+) (++)”. Try not to do too many things at once - or get help. Communicate what you need and what you want to accomplish. Some ppl in the community can be genuinely helpful, if they know what they need to do. Don’t get frustrated with comments. You do you. If you need anything, let me know.

2025-05-27 08:58:34 +0000 UTCAside from the flaccid hero bug, I really hope there are changes to the dialogue and meter responses. The feedback is terribly inconsistent. I choose an option for an extrovert and her text response was positive, but she gained ~30% disgust and 0% favor. These are at odds with each other. Plus there are options that I won't touch because I can't tell what they're supposed to accomplish. There ought to be clear category choices ("Assertive," "Gentle," "Polite") for consistent effect, but with textual variants for flavor. Any notion of discovery and experimentation is useless if the results are too unpredictable and get in the way of progress. Also, the subject of race in relation to agency contacts. We might need some clarity as to who qualifies as what, because the responses I get from the other agencies are truly baffling sometimes.
