Hugo

You probably recognize him from my first duo shoot, Andy & Hugo. As soon as we met, I knew I wanted to shoot an additional solo set with him. He was hesitant at first; I showed him my work with Santi and Lucas and he was shocked that I could think he was just as beautiful!
I took the Ferry from Connecticut to Long Island and booked a room with a teal bed and warm lamp light. I played into the setting by bringing rolls of teal tulle and thousands of stickers from a local craft store. Like many of my models, Hugo was nervous about his body and wasn't sure how much of himself he wanted to reveal. He was so sweet and shy, but very open to exploration. So we covered his body in the stickers and semi-transparent fabric, allowing him to uncover exactly what he wanted on his own terms.
Together we had turned him into a sexy arts-and-crafts project! The cool teal against his warm, tan skin, accented with pops of bright color... truly a delight to pose and later edit! We looked through the photos after our shoot and I watched him be hit with the realization of his own beauty. Unsurprising for me, but I'll never grow tired of that innocent reaction. ❤️
