New models Mats, Cody, Joe and Matt join me in a colorful exploration of male bonding and playful sensuality!

Mats is a sweet 21-year-old marketing/business student from a small village in the Netherlands. He flew to the United States for the first time to join our shoot! He told me:

“One of my biggest dreams is becoming a successful international model. I would love to walk the catwalk! Fashion is one of my main hobbies and I would never leave the door with a bad outfit! For now, I mainly model for art photographers. I love to put my emotions in a photoshoot with a deeper meaning. And I'm so thankful for getting to meet all these beautiful souls. I had a great time!”

My whole experience with Ryan was amazing. Ryan is a really sweet photographer with a lot of passion and ambitions! Working with him was great and I'm beyond thankful for this opportunity! Ryan makes sure everyone feels comfortable and that you're not doing anything you don't want to do. If Ryan ever asked me again, I would fly over immediately!"

Cody is a 23-year-old clinical psychology student from New York. This adorable ginger boy and self-proclaimed nerd told me:

“I had a lot of fun! It was a cool experience. Also UM WOW, I love love how the photos came out. Amazing!!!!!

The photo of me in the chair in front of the window is my favorite, because it’s very regal, the pose, my expression, I look royal or as if I am thinking very profoundly. I also like the photo where the boys dropped the balls on me, because I love the color, everyone’s expressions, and the way I’m posed looking up. It’s playful but I look intrigued… and also a little too old for the ball pit!”

Joe is a 21-year-old model based in Brooklyn. His gorgeous long, blonde hair makes him stand out from my other models with a unique androgynous look. He introduced himself with some fun facts:

“On a Saturday, you’ll probably find me tanning in the rockaways, picnicking in a park, or shopping second hand in Williamsburg. My favorite color is green & my favorite food is pasta!

My favorite photo is probably the one of me framed by Cody’s body. It’s kinda goofy but also sexy. I also just had so much fun playing in that ball pit!”

Matt is a 20-year-old restaurant manager from Massachusetts. He’s been a fan of my work for quite a while, I was so delighted to finally get the chance to work with him. He told me;

“Working on this shoot was a great experience. I was so happy to see the finished product, a beautiful masterpiece.

My favorite pieces were definitely the group photos where everyone came together. I think those stand out the most to me because they hold the most power and beauty.”

Will, my friend from college, is also a photographer and digital artist. He joined this project as my assistant, shooting behind-the-scenes and coordinating with the models. He told me:

“I had such an incredible experience with this shoot; I was really excited I was asked to be involved! I get really eager, especially with any project involving exploration and creativity. It was really rewarding being able to see the transition of the concept transform and come into fruition. This shoot required a playfulness from the models that resulted in great positive energy amongst everyone."
