The Neverending Story Reaction (Toy and Abby) YouTube version (early access and no ads)

Thank you for being a part of the Run to the Movies story. We decided to fast-track the editing of this reaction once the news of an upcoming remake broke. It is certain that people will have some opinions about that, so it seemed to be a perfect time to publish this video... The wonderful Holly edited it. Your support enabled us to hire her for the job, once again.

Someone in the YouTube comments said that there are plans to re-release the film in theaters this summer. A Google search confirmed it - It will be out at the end of July.

I was driving around and just heard this song come on the radio this past weekend, instantly thought of Toy and Abby.

Thanks for this kind comment. Contact is a great film to add to the list. As far as the Princess Bride goes, everyone here has seen it now. Hannah and Abby know it so well, they can quote it. Labyrinth would be amazing for Abby to seem for sure!

As a little kid, there were certain things that went over my head, but watching again as an adult, this movie is always near and dear to me. Thank you for "getting it". It would be easy to dismiss a kid's movie as just another saccharine story. The concept of the "Neverending Story", to use your imagination and build Fantasia, to share the stories, the joys and sorrows with others with limitless bounds, and to fight The Nothing which is simply the void of that ceaseless Wonder, is what will forever separate this movie from the pack, campy green screen effects and all. ... Oh and Abby... See Labyrinth. I love Dark Crystal for what it is and the amazing talents that go into its practical effects, but Labyrinth, when you look for it, shares a couple of concepts equally important not to forget.... And if you want to round out the lesson, also watch the movie Contact... and look back again at The Princess Bride.

I'm pleasantly suprised. Based on the title, I thought this was a movie about a lady telling me about her day.
