Should I make a Discord server?
Added 2022-08-17 12:37:22 +0000 UTCI had a fellow writer ask me for my Discord server address, and I didn't have one to give. He seemed surprised. Is that a thing? Would you folks like a place to talk about the stories or characters? I'm not saying I'd be much more active there than I am on the comments here or RR, but maybe?

Discord seems like a whole can of worms. You'd have to find moderators, for sure, and people would probably have some activity expectations from you. Most people with any kind of community behind them seem to set one up eventually. I personally would be unlikely to make use of it. But a lot of people DO like it. It's also great for making announcements and such.
