when is a door not a door

when its ajar? ok this is not actually about spying.. which as you know some of my doors already have.. This is about the all new "door knocking" functionality the engine now has.

At times of the day a house(1 so far) will be able to be entered via knocking the door (this could also work in the future for a room, like sisters room). The door is now answered by 1 of upto 4 people from that house. and if you are friends with the person who answers(15+like) they will let you in. If you are not friends, they will turn you away. After being turned away you can knock again and hope that the person answer this time is your friend. So the more people in the house that like you, better chance you have of getting in first knock. Each unsuccessful knock takes 15mins of time.. (giving the impression of you leaving and trying again later, but I felt an hour was too much).

I have now built a house with a number of rooms for 2 NPCs (brother and sister). and at the point that you hit 15 likes with them, they will instead of the expected dialogue at that location/time, will make a mention of you coming to their house. I hope to replicate this with other NPCs as and when they houses get built in the future.

The building of a home will normally occur when there is content for that char to develop into it. I dont want to just expand on the current NPCs with little content by just giving them more locations to say the same thing.
