Major / Minor Releases
Added 2023-09-12 21:26:56 +0000 UTCSo I have had an idea about keeping the game fresh in people minds, getting patches out, and giving the patreon a small bonus.
My idea is that there will be a major update release lets say this Friday v0.3
15 days later I plan to release a minor update v0.35 - This will contain firstly, any bug fixes or balances its felt the game needs at that stage. Second, it might contain a new feature, so something like multi saves .. or as I released in the last QOL update, Themes.. And finally, the patreon version(s) (all of them) will contain 1 extra quest step for a quest or event as a preview of something that will be coming in the next major version. So the public will still get all the bug fixes etc, but will not get the bonus early content but will get that in their next major update.
The major updates are likely to come a future 15 days after that.
With the number of concurrent under development quests on going, I want to try to get at least 1 new step in each quest in the future releases, so that none of the quests feel like they have totally stagnated. But thinking about it I guess as the number of quests are now already at 19 (some of which have finish points already) I dont know if long term some will not see progress everytime.. I guess I will have to see what I can manage.
Also I want to say that Im really grateful to all that filled in the polls here and on f95. They both ended with very similar results. Hopefully you will see how the winner in both has been implemented.. But I would like to stress I have taken note of all votes cast in the polls and in previous polls and by individual patreons who have requested certain types of content. Hopefully you will all feel that to some extent you have been listened to.
And multi saves will be coming.. it will either be in the 0.35 or 0.4 update.. im not sure which.. but I do feel by the time we get to v0.4 its going to start justifying the need for multi saves..
And finally a big thanks to all of you for your support (in all forms).. I really do appreciate it.

for the quest continuation i suggest keeping it quartered off to cherictor and reacquiring/updated. something relatively consistent. right now you can do all of them as theirs a manageable amount but as you go foreword that will become less and less possible. now how to keep it from being one cherictor over and over again is polls. take the winner of for a month or two and let others get a stay before their brought back. unless your doing counting previous polls thing then in that case wait a month and then start them back at zero.
