A Bridge of Feathers...
Who knows what I had in mind when I first thought of it. But I’m really glad I kept trying and reworking it until I reached a result I love. This map might feel a bit awkward with a classic grid, but it can be super fun in a more narrative-focused setting.

About the Map
The original idea was a dense bridge made of feather-like slabs. Then I thought... why not actual feathers? - And here we are.
Picture a series of rocky spires slicing through the clouds. They rise high into the sky, piercing the atmosphere, connected by structures loosely inspired by the walls of certain Tibetan bridges (just as inspiration, with no cultural reference, out of respect). My idea was that monstrous wings might spiral along the stone, climbing higher and higher.
I like to imagine they belong to creatures trapped in stone, or maybe they once revealed their full glory and became real. Depending on whether you choose the rocky or feathery variant, the “terrain” of your session will feel different. There are elevated zones, a very strange layout, and a strong sense of atmosphere. The variations mostly shift the mood.

What can I say?
Thanks for voting for it. I hope you enjoy it! And if you have ideas for new variants, I’m always open to suggestions!
