Summary of 2023 and what to expect in 2024!

2023 was a great year for me. After writing and selling for most of the year, I finally quit my day job as an IT nerd and went to work full-time as an author. This is a big change for me, but a positive one—I'm a disabled veteran, so being able to choose my schedule and relax during the day helps manage all my injuries. I consider this, and you, my faithful readers, a blessing.

Some winners and some losers

I released a trilogy of sword and sorcery novellas, the Hero of the North trilogy, right at the beginning of the year. It didn't do very well, so I eventually pulled it down and planned for a rewrite. After that, I wrote my New Kingdom Trilogy, which did very well and made me first realize that I might be able to do this for a living! Following that was my cyberpunk series, the Aurora Chronicles. I love cyberpunk, but unfortunately it's just not popular. But, I followed that up with Goblin Breeder, my first foray into slice-of-life and my best-selling series yet. In fact, the first three books have all been best-sellers on Amazon.

Overall, I sold 5,515 books last year, with just over 8 million page reads. Typing those numbers down makes me happy beyond words.

Goals for 2024? I would like to sell 10,000 books and hit 12 million page reads, if possible. I believe I can do it. 

What to expect from me in 2024

As of now, here are my plans for this year:
Completion of the Goblin Breeder series, with additional artwork and portraits posted here. There will be 5 total books in the series.
A new series: Post-apocalyptic, base-building, slice-of-life in the style of Fallout! Don't worry, there will still be plenty of breeding. Expect all sorts of things, from catgirls to super mutants to women with 3 boobs. Those on my discord have seen the picture of her.
Completion of the Hero of the North Trilogy. All three books will have amazing alternate covers for the paperback versions.
A new trilogy, set in the same world as the Hero of the North Trilogy. It will be action-packed sword and sorcery, but from a different angle. More harem, more sword fights, better cover art. These books will also have gorgeous alternate covers for the paperback versions. Yes, I'm trying to fill up your bookshelf.
The Booty Brigade! I am hoping to finally start on this idea involving sexy orc women with big butts. Stay tuned for details.
A new pen name for my first foray into LitRPG. I'll post about it on here, and you'll be able to read the stories on royal road and patreon when the time comes.
If I have the time, I'm still working on a collab with another talented author. It will probably only be a single book, not a trilogy. But it'll be fun.
