I hope you are doing well! This week I'm sending you a curriculum update in which I give you an insight into my thoughts on the current status and planned further development of my courses. I would be very happy if you would let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Have a fabulous weekend! ☀️

This makes sense - thanks Tim. I'm super excited to see how you expand upon OOP.

2024-02-25 21:47:54 +0000 UTCHi Carter! No worries at all, I am very happy that you share these ideas here - Thanks for that! The work of DIA is closely connected and very compatible with the method of Flexible Visual Systems. Martin uses their work often to show examples of transformation based systems, built with funky hacks and workarounds in After Effects. OOP is not really connected to this, it is actually something a bit different, more a programming paradigm. But of course there are intersections. But nevertheless what you wrote in your first comment makes sense, OOP can be very beneficial in expanding the possibilities.

2024-02-25 09:58:28 +0000 UTCHi Tim - my apologies for not being more concrete and maybe this is something that OOP is not meant to address. I was inspired by the 'input-output' flow DIA studios spoke of in their talk at MIT a short while ago. It seems to really harmonize with FVS, too. Linking below. Since I've watched it and examined more closely a few examples of their After Effects pipeline I've wondered how to best apply that using nested functions, classes etc. Not knowing much more about OOP I can't get into particulars but maybe you can understand a bit more of what i wish to articulate. It's a very nice talk regardless if I am making any sense! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nLoS3JSbzU&list=PLCVFcX8aE6u7Yugvk18jGw9VlT2q3ANdK&index=6&t=930s
