Also on Hulk's character, because a different 'Hulk' movie was released around 2003, completely seperate from the MCU, as well as the comics, and the popularity of hulk and the basic character profile, Marvel didnt want to spend 20 mins creating an origin story because they thought Marvel fans would be tired of it, so they gave a quick intro into The Hulk and went into the film. Because of the actor change, and the surprisingly mediocre reception this movie got, Marvel kinda did a little soft reboot on the hulk. So some things may seem abit awkward in terms of plot, however i dont really have a problem with them because there are actual conveniences for the slight plot holes, which ill mention when the movie comes around

Just a few things i wanna mention: One of you asked what time these movies are set. All these movies take place when they are released, perhaps to the date. So depending on the gap in release date between iron man and hulk, this movie takes place mere months after tony revealed himself as iron man in 2008. I loved how marvel films these in unique countries like brasil (as a brasilian), its great to tell stories using different cultures. They take it to another level when they have certain films take place in africa and europe and asia etc. The different cultures along with matching soundtracks makes the MCU so enjoyable and honestly it probably wouldve gotten stale extremely quickly if every superhero movie was in New York. Some MCU movies that take place in US dont even take place in a major city, which is refreshing. Someone asked whether the director of iron man also directed this movie i think caley asked. I believe every singular franchise has its own director, so iron man has its own, hulk has its own etc. Just to keep the vibes different judt like with the settings of the movie, soundtrack etc. Just as a heads up, Edward Norton doesnt come back to act as Bruce Banner because he was apparently an annoyance bts. He was quite controlling over what the plot should be and what his character should act like. So he was replaced by Mark Ruffalo for future movies (if you're afraid, i actually prefer Ruffalo, because imo hes better at the monotone, emotionless demeanor of bruce banner, and his face kinda looks similar to future models of The Hulk. And for Iron Man 2, Rhodey (Tony's best friend, and one of the important people at air force) has a different actor aswell because the original actor had issues with his pay. But again Don Cheadle is my preferred Rhodey
