The Jade Harem 1-7
Added 2025-01-08 07:02:33 +0000 UTCHannah hid behind a tree as the terrible wall of enraged snowmen advanced on the village. They had descended from the mountains, a wave of cold and death ravaging the forest's northern border. There were three quests to stop the snowmen and a village deep in the forest to protect. All morning, the event had been building up with heroes hunting down snow scouts that appeared as three-foot-tall snowmen with carrot noses and often a dark hat. They always headed toward the village to scout it out before returning with the information. Then, the event escalated to random war bands of bigger snowmen in packs of five to eight. These bands would attempt to capture key locations like bridges and farms, holding them until players swept them away. The bands were followed a few hours later by the terrible snow golems. These were giant balls of snow and ice nearly eight feet high. They had human-like faces that could appear on any side, that howled as they rolled at terrible speed toward players. These monsters caused ice and snow to spread wherever they went, and players slain would rise again as frozen dead.
The golems were hunted and destroyed one by one, but now the real fun was unleashed. A barbarian hoard of comical snowmen made of three round balls sporting scarves, hats, and other silly adornments. They had arms made of stout branches and carried brooms, shovels, and other tools as weapons. They also had a few magical spells, hurling spikes of ice and snowballs and creating flash snow storms to blind opponents. Hundreds of them spilled across the landscape as they moved along waypoints to capture locations and finally attack the village.
Hannah and the girls had been permitted to play but had to disguise who they were. This was to prevent the players from seeking their affection and any would-be enemies from identifying them. So Hannah took the form of a human woman with short dark hair wearing simple red robes. She passed herself off as a fire mage, using her devilish fire powers to attack the snowy assailants. Breanne was at her side, masked as an elf ranger with a bow of midnight that shot black arrows. Quinny was a human warrior, using a shield and sword. Umtha simply made herself look like another goblin, but this one had black hair and softer olive skin. She carried a staff and a small round shield to pass herself off as a healer. Together, the girls made an effective and balanced team, occasionally grouping up with others when the situation warranted it.
Jaina and her sisters had done the same, with their team currently trying to hold a hilltop walled garden from the snowman advance. Hannah could see the fireworks going off in the distance and hear the girls screaming in glee as the wall of snow pressed on.
“Wow, you really have outdone yourself,” Hannah said as she jumped out from behind the tree and let loose with a blast of fire. Quinny held the line with her shield up, slicing at snowmen who were trying to surround her.
“I wanted it to be challenging,” Quinny said.
“This is incredibly well balanced,” Breanne remarked as she stood between Umtha and the tide of white death, hurling black arrows of shadow at them. “How did you know to make it this tough?”
Hannah was amazed to hear Quinny's answer that the previous trials were tests. The scouts, snowman raiding parties, and even the golems had been tools to gauge how strong a defense was in the forest. The program would calculate how long the monsters survived contact with the players, awarding points to the final invasion if they died too quickly and taking points away if players died. Each wave was rebalanced to the previous response until the final snowman attack.
“And I thought Hannah was smart,” Breanne laughed as they fell back under the weight of snowy death.
Hannah agreed that Quinny's plan had been amazingly clever and congratulated her on how fun the event had been. The entire forest was a winter wonderland of snow, frost, and ice. Some trees had magical lights, and if you searched them, you could find ornaments that were to be collected. These were taken to the village and put on a central tree that added to the village's defense. Every hundred put on the tree would spawn additional guards, a wall, a special knight, or fun tools for the players to use. Now, people ran about equipped with potions of egg nog that warded off the cold chill effects of the snowmen. They also had special goggles of sight that allowed them to see through the snow storms created by the snowmen wizards. Magical attachments to shoes allowed you to walk on snow and not suffer a movement penalty, and the most prized possession of all was the cloak of winters.
The cloak was a long, magical blue silk that ended in a jagged, almost ice-like edge. The surface was woven with silver snowflakes that shimmered when it moved. The advantage of the cloak was that the frostbite attack of the snowmen could not damage you, and you recovered health and mana slowly so long as you were standing in the snow. Hannah wore one now, a prized possession after she earned enough ice coins to by one by defeating a snow golem. Now she was saving up coins to buy the snow princess's gown and looking forward to wearing it.
The battle raged as they trudged through the snow, slowly falling back under the relentless hoard of snowmen. Under the branches of leafless trees, they fought alongside other players, working in unison to kill as many as they could before the final stand at Winter Heart Village.
A woman in another party to her right pulled a small snowglobe necklace off and hurled it at the wall of death. It broke into a shower of snow that quickly formed into the fabulous winter maiden. The maiden was a shimmering woman made of swirling blue mist and snowflakes. She danced into the snowmen with flashing swords of ice, doing impressive damage but only lasting thirty seconds. Hannah loved seeing them deployed and wished she could buy a couple, but she desperately wanted that dress and the sexy undergarments it came with.
A snowball barrage forced her into cover as she took a few hits. Her body glowed with golden light a second later as Umtha provided healing while hiding behind a tree herself.
“This is going to be a long fight,” Breanne said. “We have killed well over twenty of them, but there are two hundred more in this wave alone.”
“And a dozen packs this size all across the forest,” Hannah said as she glared accusingly at Quinny.
“The waves are so big because of how many players flooded the forest,” Quinny yelled as she, too, fell back, holding her shield high while fending off snowmen.
“It’s flooded with players because our neighbors have been porting to the city in droves,” Breanne laughed. “Once word got out what the prize was, they came by the hundreds.”
Hannah sighed as she acknowledged offering a night with a harem girl as the grand prize was enticing. However, she was a little upset that Jaina had been chosen instead of her. Still, she was happy for Jaina and looked forward to seeing who the winner was. Her mind couldn't help but wander to the thought of wearing the winter princess lingerie for the winner. She was rewarded for her daydream by a snowball pelting her in the side of the head, causing her slight pain. She focused on the battle to discover that Quinny had fallen back behind her, and a towering snowman was about to have its way with her.
“Hannah, wake up!” Breanne yelled as an arrow blasted a hole in its side.
Hannah yelped and practically fell over, narrowing being missed by a swipe from a firm wooden arm. She swung her hand out, producing a cone of fire that melted its chest and caused a shrill cry that sounded like a winter wind.
Umtha reacted by grabbing Hannah by her other arm, yanking her back as Quinny tried to block the path.
“We may as well fall back to the town,” Quinny yelled. “They are getting too dense for small packs to hold them.”
Hannah was pulled to her feet and quickly ran with Umtha at her side, laughing as snowballs exploded on trees around them. The snowman army was hurling from the back ranks, turning the forest around them into chaos.
Quinny and Breanne came close behind, with Quinny using an ability to block any ranged attack that came within five feet of her. The snowman army wasn't fast, but they were closing in on the winter town, and the girls were well within snowball range. She came to a halt and lifted her arms, calling down a small burst of flaming rocks that created an area of fire, forcing the snowmen to go around.
“Thanks,” Breanne said as she and Quinny caught up.
“The town is still a few miles away,” Umtha pointed out as the girls reached a small road and joined a group of nervous players.
“Why are there so many?” a woman in the other group asked.
“They want to kill us all,” a man in the group replied.
“It’s balanced to the number of players in the forest,” Quinny replied, forgetting that nobody knew who she was. The other group laughed and asked how she could possibly know that. Hannah pretended that she had heard that the woman who hosted these events always did her best to balance them.
There was a brief debate, but Breanne reminded them that an army of snowmen was about to overrun them. They fell back as a pack, picking up other stragglers until they were a pack of twenty. Suddenly, Gisley was at their side in a lovely blue dress covered in snow.
“We lost the hill,” she said, pointing into the trees. “The others ran for supplies in town.”
“What supplies are they hoping to get?” Hannah asked as they hurried along the road. In the distance, they could hear the war cries of snowmen somewhere just beyond sight. Gisley said that they had managed to kill enough snowmen that they had nearly ten thousand ice coins. They were going to buy a patrol of soldiers and follow them into the snowman lines.
“They aren’t going to last long,” Breanne remarked as they found a man limping along, suffering terribly from a wounded leg and the frostbite effect.
“I got him,” Umtha said as she rushed to heal the wounded man.
“What happened to you?” Hannah asked as they paused to stare into the blowing snow, expecting to see the snowmen at any second. He explained that his group had gotten surrounded and made a desperate attempt at a breakout. He was the only one who made it and used a running potion to escape.
“I told you this event was too powerful,” the women from earlier argued. Hannah let her comment go and Umtha finished her healing. Together, they ran down the road, hoping to get to the town with enough time to prepare. As they ran, Quinny continued to argue that the event scaled to the relative power of the players in the forest. The woman and some others didn’t agree but then Hannah knew their argument was pointless. Quinny was an expert at this sort of thing by now, and she had clearly tailored it to be challenging, not lethal. Gisley, who was disguised as a wood elf, joined the debate, arguing that the event was fun.
Some people agreed, while others still held that it was too hard. It went on until they reached a wide road lined with tall lamp posts and fir trees ablaze with colorful lights. This was the road to the village of Winter Heart, and it was full of players rushing about as they tried to organize a defense.
“It seems people are excited,” Breanne commented as they made their way to walls of stone that hadn't been there earlier. The players had been building defenses by decorating a massive tree in the center of the town. The wall started as a low ring, barely waist high. Now, it was ten feet high and broad enough for people to walk on. NPC archers stood atop the wall with bows in hand, waiting for the coming snowman assault.
“I don’t know how you get so much ready so quickly,” Hannah said as they headed for the open gates.
“It’s easy when you know the tools,” Quinny replied.
“It's fun, too,” Gisley added. “She and I worked on it all night.”
“Oh right, neither of you needs to sleep,” Hannah laughed as they entered the inner yard to a town full of light. It looked like a picturesque village from some postcard, with small, snow-covered cottages nestled in a cluster around the marvelous glowing tree. Every window was lit with colorful lights, and smoke poured from every chimney. But the tree at the center held the most wonder, a towering fir tree decorated in gold and glitter so that it shone like a star fallen from the heavens.
Behind it was a series of market stalls where vendors sold trinkets, food, and other treats in exchange for ice blue coins earned in the games or dropped by snowmen. The largest building was an Inn with three floors, hidden in the back and surrounded by decorated trees.
“Oh, there's Jaina,” Gisley cried and pointed to where Jaina and Evalynn stood beside an NPC in plate armor.
“You lost the battle for the hill, I see,” Hannah said as they approached.
“Lost it?” Evalynn balked. “A ten-foot-tall snowman arrived swinging an icicle as large as a tree trunk.”
“What?” Hannah asked and looked at Quinny.
“Those are snow goliaths,” Quinny replied with a shrug. “They only spawn if players are winning too easily.”
“This is winning?” Hannah asked as she waved to the hundreds of frenzied players rushing about.
“Trust me, they are doing better than it looks,” Quinny insisted.
“Anyway, the giant thing broke our lines, and the snowmen swarmed in,” Jaina explained. “We and five other players decided they could have the hill. We wanted to come back and buy a few upgrades.”
Hannah nodded as she reached for a magical blue pouch on her side. Every player had one, and the coins they earned magically appeared inside. She quickly poured it out, counting her haul to see she still didn't have enough coins to buy the gown.
“Why did you make the princess dress so expensive?” Hannah asked as she put the coins away.
“It’s needed to be hard to get,” Quinny explained. “You wouldn’t think it was special if everybody had it.”
“Still short?” Jaina asked as Hannah nodded. “Well, there are hundreds of men about with plenty of ice coins. I am sure you know how to persuade them to part with a few.”
Hannah was shocked as Jaina teased her about considering other means to make the money. Hannah wouldn't let her get under her skin but she did consider the option briefly. Frank wouldn't mind, and it was part of her nature as a Lilim. As quick as the thought came, she dismissed it. She still had plenty of time to make the money she needed and would have one eventually.
“Suite. Yourself,” Jaina replied with a shrug. “But you are basically a succubus, and you have nothing to be afraid of putting those charms to use.”
“Yeah, it’s what we do,” Quinny agreed.
“Is that so?” Hannah asked as she folded her arms. “Well, I seem to recall that you and Umtha are my slave girls. So I could order you two to do it instead and make me the money.”
“Can we?” Umtha asked excitedly, causing Jaina to burst into laughter.
“I love her enthusiasm,” Jaina cried.
“Yes, my girls are shameful,” Hannah said with a smile. “Especially the elf woman.”
“Oh, she’s terrible,” Breanne agreed.
“How did I become the target of this conversation?” Breanne asked as she and Evalynn exchanged smiles.
Hannah recounted what she learned while baking cakes with Chandice. Breanne and Evalynn were living two lives, one in the harem and another as lovers in the elf village. Drellis, the secretive druid of the forest, had become aware of their presence and started to make regular visits. Chandice described them as being his unofficial wives and frequent sex partners.
“She said you have even entertained a few players, too,” Hannah accused.
“Just a couple,” Breanne remarked as if the comment were pointless.
“Oh, that one barbarian,” Evalynn cooed as she recalled the encounter fondly. “The way he was so rough with you. I have never been so turned on.”
“Ha,” Jaina laughed as Breanne smiled and blushed.
“All my girls are sluts,” Hannah remarked.
“Oh, so says the girl who just spent three days in bed with a man who was practically a stranger,” Jaina accused.
“He’s not a stranger anymore,” Breanne teased.
“I did that for my kingdom,” Hannah protested. “If I am going to play this class, I have to put its skills to full use.”
“Oh, sweetheart,” Jaina cooed, taking Hannah by the shoulders. “Nobody is accusing you of any wrongdoing. I am glad you embraced your nature and had fun. Now, you need to loosen up and look around. You are not only free to take anyone you see to bed, your master encourages you to do it.”
Hannah felt hot as she glanced about, looking at the various players. Jaina was right; she did have Frank's blessing, but initiating it on her own felt pointless. She much preferred to be told what to do when it came to these sorts of things or have a strong motivation. Being frivolous wasn't her sort of thing; besides, she had plenty of time to earn the coins the normal way.
“We should buy some buffs,” Umtha urged as she tilted her head at Hannah. “I will buy you some so you can save your coins.”
“Thanks,” Hannah said as Jaina released her, and they headed off to find the vendors. They passed the massive tree and the three-story inn hidden behind it. Hannah could smell cider and hear singing as a boisterous crowd enjoyed the atmosphere inside. The building in the back were small shops where they ran into Roric with Chandice on his arm.
Hannah smiled to see Chandice in a red robe frilled with white fur as if she had dressed for the winter cold. Chandice returned the smile and asked how the war was going, and Jaina said they were losing on every front.
“Not true,” Quinny said. “If one of the big golems attacked, then players are killing more snowmen than we suspect.”
“Big golems?” Roric asked with a raised brow.
“It’s tall as a house and hits like a bulldozer,” Jaina remarked with a glare at Quinny. “She and Gisley planned all sorts of surprises.”
“We couldn’t get the snowmen wizards to work,” Gisley cut in. “They kept melting.”
“That’s all we would have needed,” Breanne scoffed.
“So what’s the plan now?” Chandice asked.
“We are going to buy a patrol of knights and follow them out to fight more,” Jaina explained.
“How are you girls spending so much on this?” Roric asked as he looked between Quinny and Gisley. “Spawning NPCs like this is too much, even for you.”
Gisley wrapped her arms around her back and swayed sheepishly as she admitted they had asked Gwen for help. The guards were basically temporary kingdom guards with a very narrow focus and preprogrammed purpose. They didn't have the kind of points it would take to pull all of this off, and didn't want to ask Roric and Frank for gold to buy points with.
“You asked Gwen instead?” Hannah said.
“I asked Mom,” Quinny replied with a happy smile. Hannah was pleased to see that Quinny was proud to be able to call Gwen's mom. The poor woman hadn't known a mother in her real life and came to New Eden to start a new one. She had friends and companions, but seeing Hannah become a daughter and princess kindled feelings of emptiness. Hannah dug these feelings up and learned that Quinny deeply wished she could have a mother. Hannah shared this desire with Gwen who decided to take Quinny as a second daughter. Gwen taking her as a daughter and treating her as such had done wonders for the woman's self-worth. For the first time in her life, she felt like she belonged to a family, and Hannah couldn't help but pull her into a hug.
“I love you, Quintessa,” Hannah whispered.
“Ooh,” Gisley cooed as she practically danced.
“This is what makes our family special,” Jaina said as she leaned into Chandice.
“So, how do we spawn these guards?” Hannah asked as the hug ended, and she ran her hand over Quinny's head.
Quinny took the group to a small guard tower where a quartermaster stood. She explained that he sold patrols and defense options but only after players put enough decorations on the tree. They asked him if he had a patrol to sell, and the biggest one he would sell was a ten-man foot patrol. Jaina soured and said she was hoping for cavalry but would settle for anything. The girls chipped in the coins, and the man blew a whistle. Ten men in chain armor appeared behind him and began marching toward the gate.
“So, how does this work?” Hannah asked as she fell in behind them.
“Well, there are five critical points the snowmen have to capture before they attack the town,” Quinny explained. “The guards will go to each point, starting with the closest one and ending at the farthest one. They will try to hold that point for as long as they can if they reach it.”
“Sheesh, you really did plan this out,” Hannah remarked.
“It’s pretty typical MMO stuff,” Roric said as she walked beside Hannah.
“So when are you taking ownership of me?” Hannah asked as they passed through the gate, collecting a few other players who wanted to participate.
“I think sooner rather than later,” Roric replied. “That is if you are sure you want this?”
“Why does everybody keep asking me that?” Hannah said.
“Because Roric is going to put you to the test,” Chandice replied. “He is going to make you do things you never thought you would do.”
“Yes, you need to be committed to this path,” Jaina agreed. “You should take some time to search your heart. If you commit to being trained by Roric, you will be a slave girl forever more. You will give up every shred of control and become a possession that can be sold at your owner's discretion.”
Hannah was struck by a sudden sensation of tingling that started in her stomach and spread across her body. She felt a wave of panic and arousal as her mind instinctively began to imagine Roric training her and the things he might make her do. She imagined being naked and chained on a stage before dozens of men looking at her lewdly as she was auctioned away.
“She’s so funny when she blushes,” Gisley laughed as they headed down the road.
“I got her heart racing,” Jaina said with a smile. “I bet she’s all tingly.”
Hannah admitted she felt a hot flash but tried to play it off as nerves over the coming battle. She was startled with nearby players asked why they were talking so funny. Then, one of the men pointed out how many of the girls were in slave collars.
“Wait, these are jade harem girls?” a woman who looked like a rogue asked. “I thought they were all locked up in the palace after that attack.”
“We have a special permit to be out,” Evalynn replied. “And we aren't the ones those people were after anyway.”
“So they were after somebody specific?” a man in plate armor asked.
Roric cut in and explained that the girls were not permitted to speak about the attack. He then introduced himself as one of the masters of the harem and the one watching over them while they were here. Hannah loved to see the look of awe that crossed some faces to be speaking to an actual master and his escort of harem girls. It was like he was some kind of rock star, stepping out of Limo with a model on each arm.
“It is always like this?” Hannah whispered to Jaina and Chandice so the others wouldn’t hear.
“Not in the beginning,” Chandice whispered back. “But now that the harem is the center of power in the land, he gets a lot more attention.”
“It helps that he cuts a noble image with that wise animal look,” Jaina added.
They headed to the first checkpoint, a small farm just down the road, while players bombarded Roric with questions. They asked him everything from how many girls were in the harem to whether it was true the harem girls were all lesbians.
Jaina laughed as Roric tried to explain how the harem worked and that there were three men who were allowed to touch the girls. He then took his opportunity to sell the idea that any player who proved himself and his devotion to the kingdom could be elevated to the rank of knight of the Jade Harem. This person would be invited to join the harem and, of course, have access to the girls.
“Isn't Princess Hannah a harem girl?” a man asked.
“She sure is,” Jaina replied while flashing a smile at Hannah.
“So, if you were made a knight, you could have sex with her?” he pressed.
Hannah felt as if everyone was watching her as Roric said yes. People replied with disbelief before Roric stepped in and explained a few things. He told them that what Hannah was doing was very brave, giving up control of herself to help create the foundation of her kingdom. He pointed out that she and Frank could have kept all the power, but by joining the harem, they helped establish an order that made the kingdom possible. Hannah joined the harem as a slave girl to ensure the Jade Harem had true power, while Frank became one of the masters. United as one, they could accomplish far more than any of them could have alone.
“So have you had sex with Princess Hannah?” a woman asked.
Roric didn’t miss a beat when said he had made love to Hannah many times. This produced gasps and muttered remarks as Hannah’s cheeks began to blush. She was grateful for her disguise as Roric went on to explain that some of the harem girls had special privileges. Hannah and some of the others were allowed to play in the Lovewood. He then looked around at the players before blowing their minds.
“Some of you have probably made love to her already,” he said.
It was like a wave had crashed over them and one man insisted he wouldn’t have forgotten that. Roric then pointed out that Hannah was a succubus and could appear as anyone she wished. He gestured to the girls around him and said she might even be here.
Hannah did her best to act like she wasn't at all bothered by what he said. Every person with them studied her and the others as if trying to deduce if any of them were Hannah. A woman in the group pointed out the flaw in Roric's comment, stating that Hannah would have forest tattoos if that were true.
Roric laughed and said that at least three of the girls with him had such tattoos. Of course, they had been allowed to cover them up for the adventure, but Roric pulled Gisley aside and undid her dress, exposing her back. People were shocked to see the dizzying array of colors on her back clearly telling a story of passion and sex.
“So some harem girls do have sex outside the harem?” a man asked.
“And Hannah is one of them?” another pressed.
“Goodness, Hannah is popular,” Jaina said as she glanced at Hannah. “Did you know that, Jallin?”
Hannah was grateful Jaina made up a name on the spot and played along, suggesting she had spoken to Hannah about it once. Hannah loved secretly playing in the forest and even once spent a whole day at the glory hole.
“No way!” a man cried, then looked embarrassed. “Umm, not that I would know.”
“Why would you be so surprised?” A woman asked. “One of the harem girls is the grand prize to the player who scores the most points in the event.”
“Oh, right,” he said, then looked around. “Wait, is it one of these girls?”
“You will have to wait and see,” Roric said.
“Can the winner pick the one he wants?” another man asked.
“What makes you think a man will win?” the woman argued.
“What would you want with a night with a harem girl?” the man countered.
“Umm, hello,” Jaina said. “Most of us are lesbians. You may not want to assume a woman wouldn't want a night with a harem girl.”
“Or, Maybe I want to share her with my boyfriend,” the woman added.
“Sorry,” he said as the guards reached the farm and spread out as if taking a post. The other players did the same, searching the area for any hidden snowman scouts.
“Now what?” Hannah asked to change the subject.
“They search for a minute, then move on to the next objective,” Quinny answered.
“Good, I need to keep my mind occupied,” Hannah said.
“Oh, aren’t you enjoying the conversation?” Jaina teased.
“I have never been so embarrassed and excited at the same time,” Hannah replied. She lowered her voice so only Jaina, Roric, and Chandice could hear. She admitted that she was on fire, both afraid of being discovered and excited at the possibility.
Jaina took her hand and rubbed it, assuring her that one day, the things she did outside the harem wouldn't be a secret. Hannah nodded but it only intensified the fire inside. She trembled at the idea of her activities being public knowledge and thanked her lucky stars they had to keep the disguises, or Jaina would surely rat her out.
The guards moved on, and the players followed the line. Some of them tried to chat up the harem girls. Jaina and Gisley eagerly flirted and teased while Umtha admitted she wished she had been chosen to be the prize.
“So none of you are the prize?” a woman asked as she looked sadly at Jaina.
“Oh, I love it when a girl looks at me like that,” Jaina said as she met the woman's eyes. The woman smiled and Hannah had to shake her head at how easily Jaina and her sisters played their roles. None of the other players seemed the least bit bothered as they asked them why they wanted to be slave girls. Jaina answered most of the questions, citing how exciting it was to not be in control. She played up the kind of heart a true slave girl needed in order to submit to a master. Roric chimed in that such a submission was the greatest gift a slave could give, and the masters understood this. They treated the girls with great respect and loved them for the sacrifices they made.
“So the girls aren’t just sex toys?” a man asked.
“Goodness no,” Jaina laughed. “I mean, plenty of that goes on, but this is an exchange of trust. I gave up my freedom to Master Roric because I trusted him to appreciate my sacrifice. I did it because I wanted to show him that I knew he was worthy to own me.”
“And I took her as a slave because I trusted her heart to know she had what it took to submit completely,” Roric explained. “I will always treasure her for her gift.”
“I never heard it explained like that before,” A woman said as they passed down a snowy lane oddly devoid of other players.
Hannah felt stirred by the explanation and how they spoke of each other with such devotion. Was this why they kept asking Hannah if she really wanted this? Was Roric trying to be sure Hannah was ready to submit without complaint or restriction, giving over her right to herself to her master?
She didn’t have time to ponder it as Quinny shouted and pointed down the road. Hannah looked up to see a wall of snowmen advancing down the road with something large moving in the trees behind. The group came to a halt as a snowman as tall as the trees slid into the road, leading the charge as the NPC guards raised their weapons.
“Well, let's go have some fun,” Jaina said as the group readied to meet the charge of the snowmen.
