Jaycee's Blog - Mon, May 9

So, Mandy's back in the picture.

If you're relatively new to Bloomin' Faeries!, there's a chance you're not familiar with Mandy. I should catch you up.

Once upon a time, she was my girlfriend. She was (and still is) incredibly hot: blonde hair, big boobs, and a killer body that would turn the Pope into a sinner. It should have been clear to me at the time that I was punching above my weight class, but I just thought I'd won the lottery.I really thought she was into me and I was on top of the world.

Little did I know that she was interested in Brooke (who was a man at the time) and cheating on me with him. Our relationship deteriorated as she turned into an abusive psycho and I cut her out of my life. She reappeared some years later, having changed her life and become a nun. Except she was also a STRIPPER nun, and hearing the word "Amen" made her cum. (Attitude had done a number on her, and frankly, after what I'd gone through, I wasn't in a mood to sympathize.) We eventually patched up our relationship. When Brooke was turned into a woman, the two moved in together. Mandy, having been on the receiving end of faerie magic, helped Brooke through the transition.

We eventually dated again. Then there was that crazy trip to Mexico, and things went down hill. She cheated on me again (though there was faerie influence at work), and we parted ways one last time. She disappeared from all our lives, seemingly gone for good.

Except that now she's back. She's been back in Brooke's life for many years, but both of them had agreed not to tell me. When she showed up at Brooke's apartment last week, I didn't know what to say (and she didn't know I wasn't Brooke). I slammed the door on her and told her to get the fuck away from me. I was too upset. Then I called Brooke and gave her a piece of my mind for not telling me about Mandy. She tried explaining to me why she'd done that, but I hung up on her. I've ignored her repeated calls since.

This weekend, Mandy came to my door again (or Brooke's door, if you prefer) and relentlessly rang the doorbell until I answered. When I finally answered the door, she shoved me to the side and walked past me, eyes flashing with fury.

"Okay, Jaycee," she said, "I know you're in there. Brooke called me and told me everything. So now you're gonna put on your big boy pants and we're gonna talk about this."

It seemed I had no choice in the matter, so I let her talk. She said she wanted to tell me, but Brooke insisted they shouldn't. She's been back in Brooke's life for about four years, but it wasn't a serious relationship. Brooke had other girls on the side (Mandy knew about them) and wasn't going to give them up. The reasoning was, "why tell Jaycee, it's just going to drive him nuts, and it's not like we're being serious."

When Mandy was done with her explanation, I just shrugged.

"Fine. You've explained it. You can go, now."

But Mandy wasn't done.

"You weren't in town, this had nothing to do with you, and the world doesn't revolve around you. Brooke and I don't owe you any explanations."

"He LIED to me about you," I said.

"He didn't lie, he just didn't tell you about me."

"A lie of omission is still a lie," I said.

"Did he tell you about all the other girls he's dating?" Mandy asked. "No, he didn't. Because it's trivial and it's none of your business. It's the same with me."

I thought about it for a moment, then shook my head.

"It's not the same," I said. "Because these girls, they're just in it for the sex. Brooke's just a piece of ass to them. That's how she chooses her relationships, always has been—even when she was a guy. Any girl that's too interested gets the boot. But he didn't do that with you, did he?"

"Because it's just sex."

"No it isn't," I replied. "You want her, and you want her bad. You always have, even when we dated. Even when she was a man. And even without his dick, you want to be with her. You, missy, are in love with Brooke."

"That's ridiculous," Mandy said, but she looked away.

I knew I was right.

"You are," I insisted. "And it's pathetic. He's never going to want you. You're a cheater, and he knows it. You're not wife material. You're barely girlfriend material. And to me, you're nothing."

Mandy didn't say anything after that. She stood up and left, leaving me alone with my thoughts and a growing sense of guilt.

Maybe I'd gone too far?

Nah, I think you hit the nail on the head. That and Brooke would never want to be with just one girl anyway.
