While I've long fantasized about Mai Shiranui, I never knew much about her story. In order to write this, I had to do a bit of research and found that she's in love with Andy Bogard. It seemed like the right thing to do to get them a bit...closer. I'm sure that's what a nearby faerie thought as well, regardless of the mission they were on. True love (or raw lust) trumps combat missions.
I'm sure you'll agree.
