You're probably wondering why I'm introducing Gwendolyn the Black instead of the old Wizard from the pre-reboot comic. Frankly, I'm not sure if he'll ever be back. I always had some trouble using him (or her, post-change) in stories. Other than being a (very predictable) pervert, there weren't many stories to tell with him. I think I can tell more stories with Gwendolyn,, who (you'll soon see) isn't exactly a likeable person.
For a moment, I thought about making her black instead of Caucasian (this comic could use a bit of diversity, don't you think?), but for a number of reasons (including the "the Black" part), it felt a bit too on the nose even for me I decided to wait and introduce a black character in a different narrative.
Meanwhile, Gwendolyn is here and she's about to mess things up.
