The Town of Skode

Hey everyone! Let me present to you the Town of Skode, the second map for the Viking Kingdoms theme.

On a large hill, surrounded by vast grassy plain, lies the town of Skode, the seat of the Clan of Scodden and their leader Kurdegast. The old bathhouse, a vacant remnant of an Imperial Age, now serves as a secret base of operations for those seeking to undermine the rule of King Fjurmann. Local nobles, warrior and druids gather in its shadows to supplant the King of the Knurds.

Skode is not a great settlement, but its earthen walls have managed to protect the Scodden clan for many generations. On top of the hill stands Skoding Manor, home of Kurdegast. Kurdegast is a fierce character, long bearded, and broad shouldered. His father, Harrebor, fell defending their home against Knurd invaders. As Kurdegast swore fealty to Fjurmann, he also swore to personally end the king's dominion of Scodden.

Seasons have passed, and Kurdegast has called many of the nearby rulers, generals, as well as druids from the Scodish Thickets, to discuss their future. Long ago, Burbric engineers built a bathhouse and beginnings of a sewer system. Now the collapsed tunnels are used by the conspirators, as they meet to discuss their plans to overthrow Fjurmann. Very little has been decided yet, expect that they all agree it must be done.

While the conspirators have kept to themselves so far, Kurdegast is considering reaching out to other clan leaders, such as Ratagund, to gather an army of Galladan and breaking free from the king.
