“This is delicious!” Lan Yunyue exclaimed in shock as she tasted the grilled meat. It was juicy and tender, nothing like she had eaten before!

It’s like this meat is top tier of some sort of beast! 

“Of course it is. You are eating Houtian Beast meat.” Xiao Tian Long dropped a bombshell, making them stare at him with shock!

“H-Houtian B-B-Beast!?” Those kinds of monsters don’t exist in Sky Fortune Kingdom! To think that something like this she could eat!

“Yep. That is why it's good for our cultivation.” He popped a piece of meat into his mouth.

“Amazing. And the fruits? And vegetables?” Lan Yunyue felt they were not normal.

“Most of them are between 500 and 700 years old.”

The trio sucked in cold air. They were eating better than Kings and Emperors!

“That is why you don’t waste it.” He chuckled. Not that they would. Everyone here finishes all of their food.

“We won’t!” Lin Fengyuan said in an honest tone.

“I know. I was joking.” He chuckled before getting a bit serious.

“Once you two finish your food, I can help you get that Martial Intent.” The Sword User told them what would happen next.

“Y-You think we can achieve it?” Lin Fengyuan and Lan Yunyue looked at him. They are not sure.

“Well, you are cultivating. That’s the whole point.” He shrugged.

“If you can’t believe in yourself, then believe I can teach you.” He winked at the duo. The pair blushed a bit before seriously nodding at him.

Once dinner was over, Qin Xingxuan giddily went to practise her Martial Intent, leaving the duo behind with Xiao Tian Long.

“Like I said to Xuan’er, you need to achieve the Zen State. The Zen state is a form of meditation. To achieve Zen, you need to calm yourself, think of nothing and let yourself balance with your body and the nature around you.

When you think of nothing, let yourself drift away, desire faster cultivation speed, want it, need it, and Dao itself will make it happen.” He explained to them as he was sitting down on the ground in front of them.

The pair tried to follow his instructions. While this was happening, he pondered his next martial intent. He needed some sort of soul-based martial intent. He might have the Magic Cube that helps him with souls. 

But he has no technique.

‘Oh…’

At that moment, he focused and tried to manifest his third Martial Intent!

He has a specific desire. He might have a system, but it's just it. Systems and their sliders are good, but when one creates things naturally, it’s just better.

The pair tried. They had this feeling that something was trying to happen, to manifest, but it stopped midway. So they looked at Xiao Tian Long. To their surprise, there was a green, jade gloss around him.

Did he manifest something… again!?

‘Isn’t this his third Martial Intent!?’ Lin Fengyuan exclaimed in disbelief.

Eventually, he finished and opened his eyes, looking at the pair.

“I can guess that you two failed?” He asked, and the pair nodded back.

“Then try again and again. It took several times for Xuan’er.” He explained before closing his eyes, and green jade gloss surrounded him.

What he created this time around was what he calls ‘Technician’ —a martial intent that helps him with martial skills, techniques, and movement techniques. In other words, it helps him digest, improve, and develop the arts.

Something he needed as he wanted to get into the juicy details of Martial Arts creation.

The pair nodded as they began to try… again and again.

As they were trying, Xiao Tian Long was working on something he found fascinating.

The idea of cutting has greatly interested him, so he was using Technician Martial Intent to grab the idea of cutting the smallest of parts… basically at the atomic level…

So his new martial Intent allowed him not only to develop techniques and skills but comprehend and harness ideas.

After a while, he stood up and walked some distance away. With a flick of his hand, his sword rushed out from his sheath and into his hand.

He then began to consider stances and utilise the new concept he had developed.

The way it works is quite simple. The first one starts with ‘One With’, meaning one with sword, wind, fire, and so on.

At this stage, one can perceive such things. The first stage of understanding is very basic, and the perks are minimal. The next stage is ‘concept of’. At this stage, one could borrow something like wind to allow one to fly or glide or the direct flow of fire or thunder. After this stage is ‘Intent’.

It’s where his Sword Intent is. In other words, he skipped a bit with his cultivation method.

But now he is trying to grasp ‘Cut’. He got ideas about Vibrations, which he will study, but ‘Cut’ for a sword is far more important.

That is why he began to practise, instead of making ‘small pieces’ shake, he went with separation.

His ‘Sharpening’ Martial Intent helped a lot as he quickly grasped what he wanted!

The pair of girls could see golden particles dancing around in the distance, practising Xiao Tian Long. There was a white aura around him. The Sword User's Qi was in the air.

This was not something a Viscera Training stage martial Artist should be capable of! By this point, he had so many abilities and perks that his staying in Viscera Training should be impossible.

Sure enough, they sensed a Breakthrough!

He just achieved Late-Stage Viscera Training! With only one more step, he will be in the Muscle-Altering Stage!

Lan Yunyue bit her lower lip. She won’t be left behind! Martial Intent is something that would help her ignore her below-average Martial Talent and follow where Xiao Tian Long is going!

The girl snapped her eyes shut and began to try again. This time, her desire was far greater, and before she could even notice, her True Essence surged, and she comprehended her Martial Intent. It was very similar to Qin Xingxuan’s, as they understood martial arts in a similar fashion.

Accompanied by such a desire to cultivate faster, she developed similar enlightenment-based martial Intent.

Lin Fengyuan, who witnessed this, could only bite her lower lip out of frustration. There was no way she could stay behind like this.

So she tried again, and again, until she finally felt that she had passed that barrier…

It was similar in martial intent, but it's based on the concept that she doesn’t want to be left behind. It was different from Lan Yunyue’s and Qin Xingxuan’s…

While the girls manifested their Martial Intent, Xiao Tian Long continued to practise his swordsmanship.

With two martial intents working hand in hand, he was able to compress several days' worth of work in a matter of hours.

He became ‘One With Understanding of Cut’. His sword was already sharp, but with this, it was like his sword was as sharp as obsidian or glass. Shredding and cutting things that should be much more solid.

But it was not all, as he continued… After ‘One With,’ he continued and started to grasp the Concept of Cut, the next stage.

In the first stage, he was able to make his weapon insanely sharp, but in the next stage, he could make anything sharp. He could do it with his ‘Sharpness’ martial intent, but it was different.

There is a difference between using martial intent to make things sharp and simply thinking of making something sharp.

One is instinct, and the other is intent. 

That is why he continues to practise to achieve the Concept of Cut.

Eventually, with the help of his two Martial Intents, he was able to perceive his surroundings and then think of cutting.

When he opened his eyes, he could see that all the grass around him had been cut into small shreds, and the leaves around his area had gone as well.

He didn’t touch trees or branches, but now he can cut through air. It's an impressive ability.

Now he can undress his girls with a thought.

Simply… glorious.

“Hmm?” 

Xiao Tian Long looked at his hand.

‘This is…’

He realised that he had a breakthrough! Muscle Altering Stage!

‘I see… constantly practising things that are beyond my level is making my body rapidly catch up. All those pure energies that are flowing through my body are causing a rapid growth in cultivation.’

The next thing is cutting intent. He already has an idea of what to do. His Martial Intent is giving him glimpses; all he needs is to walk that distance.

“Unbelievable.” 

When he turned his head to the side, he saw his three girls staring at him with awe and affection. The pair of girls were thinking of ‘doing things’ after witnessing such progress!

“In less than a week, you had two breakthroughs!” Lin Fengyuan exclaimed as she witnessed something similar, but it was Lan Yunyue. She might have consumed pills before advancing with Xiao Tian Long’s help.

So, for the Lin girl, it doesn’t count! But this… she witnessed something absurd. Not just advancement in Stages, but he grasped something else!

“Well, advancement in stages was a side effect.” He replied while standing up. He then turned around and looked at them. 

He could sense that they had improved considerably.

“It was a side effect of my grasping the concept of cut.” Xiao Tian Long explained to them as he lifted his hand, and sharp gusts of wind danced above his palm. 

“Concept of…cut?” Qin Xingxuan looked confused. What he said sounds way too obscure!

“Similar to vibrations in utilisation.” He shrugged before walking over and wrapping his hands around his maid and Lin Fengyuan, the closest two girls.

“Could we learn something like that?” Lan Yunyue asked him as she leaned her head into his shoulder. After grasping Martial Intent, she felt a bit more confident.

“Of course you can; I can teach you.” He smiled at her, his hand stroking her back. “We can start with something easier, like a sword, and then move towards something more obscure," He suggested.

The other two perked up.

“That would be great!” Qin Xingxuan chirped up as she moved, ending up leaning into his chest.

All three of them surrounded him, all of them looked like excited kittens. 

“Good, now why don’t we get something to eat? I feel like eating something delicious!” Xiao Tian Long didn’t realise, but he had been training for days without a break, and now he was feeling drained.

“Un! We should celebrate! I am close to the second layer of Primal Chaos Theory and could channel Flow Like Silk.” Qin Xingxuan said her achievements.

“I am similar! I just broke through the first layer and am close to making Flow like Silk.”

The other two girls replied that their achievements were similar, and they were close to their next breakthrough!

Their Martial Intents is simply too broken!

“Very good. I told you, didn’t I? We will be Xiantian and beyond.” He confidently said with a smirk.

“Yes~”

“Un~~”

The trio nodded. By this point, they were sold on their opportunities.

“Brother Ming.” Xiao Tian Long walked forward. The Restaurant Boy looked like he had been practising nonstop. There was a purple spear in his hands. 

“Brother Long.” Lin Ming looked at the Sword user, his eyes eventually fell on a girl behind him.

‘Lan Yunyue…’ 

“What is Lan Yunyue with you?” He asked curiously.

“My admission to Heaven’s Abode and test for Core Disciple caused a fallout between Tenth Prince and Zhu Yan. She was collateral damage.” He turned and looked at the maid, who had a neutral expression on her face.

Lan Yunyue didn’t expect to meet Lin Ming that soon. Now she wonders what he wants from her, Master.

Lin Ming was a bit behind and had not heard any of the news.

“Yes, Zhu Yan is no longer a member of Seven Profound Valley Martial House.” Xiao Tian Long dropped the news.

The Spear user looked baffled to hear that! How is he supposed to fight that guy now!?
