Courier Quest International is done, so what now?

Salutations, readers!

I'm happy to announce that CQI, as the title may suggest, is done. It took two months this time, as I was still writing my other stories while last time I was able to get a large enough backlog, but I'm very happy with how it turns out. Cozy Floss can now go back into hiding to recharge so I'm ready for the next book.

Courier Quest Worldwide, which will be the final entry in Trevor's story, will either be a November or April Writeathon project. By then I'll have an outline/have daydreamed up enough scenes that it should hopefully be a quick write.

100th Run continued to truck along. The current arc, Dublin, has been something I hinted at back in... geez, back in chapter 195. I've had a lot of time to think on it, and I've expanded it a lot, too. Not only am I incapable of brevity, but this was also supposed to be the climax of book 5, and then book 6, so I'm glad I put it on the backburner so I could give it its due.

As far as stories go, there's another one that's been on my mind for over a year now. Some of you might recognize this title as a little Easter egg from one of the earlier CQI chapters, but Foxbond has been living rent free in my head. Some people are only here for 100th Run, some only joined up for CQ, but I'm going to be putting up an interest check early in June.

The first five chapters had already been written from back in August-September, but if you like my action scenes and tournaments then, good news, that and monster hunting is going to be featured heavily.

I don't have a blurb yet (they are the bane of my existence), but the main premise of the system is card-based monster evolution, where the monster is soul bound to a person called a Carded. In this case, a Fox card of dubious origin. By playing cards, various parts of the monster's body shifts, giving them stat buffs and new abilities depending on the card.

Monster hunting for new cards, and tournament arcs for prestige. As a former tournament host myself, I think I can do it justice.

Anyway, that's all for me. I'll leave you with the current cover art for Foxbond, and hope you continue to enjoy my stories! When I put up the interest check, I would appreciate any who read it and welcome all feedback and critiques, good and bad, so don't hold back. Thank you!

From your description, it sounds fantastic. Progression, monsters, a tournament, and a bit of mystery gets a thumbs up from me. You’ve got me intrigued, whith your vivid fight scenes and possibly with the fact that we can actually remember all the skills and abilities our mc, you know i see possibilities here. I think a lot of people would enjoy it, even more than 100th Run. Foxbound seems more of a general progression fantasy, which is the current favorite. But when it comes down to it, the first step for a story to be great is, just like Drew Risch said: More, more, always more! (chapters)

Adam

Fingers crossed you'll like this story as much as Run!

I just want more 100th Run! More more more always more! (Tbh you could publish a 1000 chapters and I’d still ask for more, so… maybe just ignore me lol)
