Hi - love your live events. What is the most surprising genetic research you have read?

Eleanor Wolf

Hi Clint! Love your videos and the positive messages you send out for the reptile community! My fiance, his mother and I run a non-profit animal rescue. My fiance and I run the exotic portion of it so we have a little family of reptiles (13 reptiles in total, 2 hedgehogs, and a German-Shepard Corgi dog). Where do you purchase your crickets from and how would you go about starting a colony? We have tried a few times but are not having luck as they die off very quickly! Thank you, glad you are safe and healthy!

I just want to say thank you for your channel and everything you do. Your children are beautiful and I loved the Human Child video!! 😂 I have been struggling with alcoholism and your videos have helped me to find a new and relatively safe hobby to take the place of drinking. I’m currently stuck in South Korea in barracks so I can’t have any reptiles at the moment, but I’ve already ordered everything that I need to start keeping a boa and had it sent to my home in Tennessee. I haven’t been this excited about something in a long time. Thank you for sharing your passion for these terrific creatures and giving me the information to fuel my own passion 🙂

How’s the ball python breeding season going for you? Have you had any locks? Are there any pairs you’re particularly excited for?

What kind of larger reptiles do you plan to include in your reptile room?

Hey Clint! So, I've had my corn snake for about 3 years now and he's as healthy as can be. However I've noticed that he's no longer eating medium rats (he used to all the time). I am feeding him 3 small mice for every feeding for the time being, but was wondering if there is something to look out for? For context... 1) He doesn't eat frozen food (tried on several occasions) 2) He would indeed kill the medium rat and it seems like he would attempt to eat, but give up and just leave it there after a while.

What (reptile room) project are you most excited to start when the shelter in place/stay at home order is lifted and you can safely go to the hardware store and be around people again?

C.D.

To be honest Clint I just wanna ask you how you and yours are doing. Your content and general personality has been a comfort for many of us. I hope that you're finding the same somewhere :)

This might be a silly question, but I’m from an area which doesn’t really have much in the way of native local reptiles, so I don’t have a lot of knowledge. I saw someone (I think from the US) post a meme the other day, saying that if you see a snake somewhere really ridiculous (pic was of a snake halfway up a brick wall, somehow!) that it’s probably a harmless rat snake, and to leave it be. I’m wondering - are rat snakes particularly mischievous, or just very common?
