2023-09-27 18:38:27 +0000 UTCOh! I was watching the latest drop from my favorite hoof trimmer and remembered the other thing I wanted to say! They don’t give cows NSAIDS for headache, but for the other reasons we take them: pain from swelling and injuries (which are much more likely in modern cement floored farms) and to reduce fevers during infections. I am fascinated by the correlation between that and a drop off in the culture population, though. Especially in India, I wouldn’t expect them to leave the cows top root in the fields… but maybe the whole cows are divine things ends at death? I’ve never really looked into it. I wonder what other changes may also correlate.

I’d really love to see him again and get the build-off back up to 10… maybe a vote-off with prior 4th placers…. ;) I’m really grateful that Clint brought up the issues with assuming. China would come out of such a conflict on top and I can only hope you’re right that we’re starting to come out of this exceptionally contentious period in our false-dichotomy alpha test democracy soon. It’s so frustrating to watch people be so manipulable, even if it’s literally been true for all of human history
