Flew over from Dublin for this, was a great show and met a lovely couple from Wigan and two great guys from...I wanna say Cambridgeshire?? May have been a bit too forcefull in pointing out to Marc that Sheamus, Becky Lynch and Finn Balor aren't British but alcohol is a funny thing

One minute NTSC uses 1.5 times as much tape as one minute of PAL, which means that the same blank tapes that did 3 and 4 hours (the latter being more expensive) in the UK would fit 2hrs and 2hrs 40 in the US. So if you had a more niche audience, it made sense to go cheap and cut down to 2 hours, which is what WCW did. WWE usually squeezed on a 2:40 tape but presumably decided to cut costs on this one. Why you'd then cut the Bret match rather than the undercard is a different issue. Good to hear Bernard Manning had a second legitimately good joke. The first, of course, being: "My neighour's Jewish. He's not one of those orthodox Jews... he's a Nazi."
