Ismedhai, but it's Zephyr - Patron ask box answers Sept 2023

This is specific to the Exorcist x angel AU, in which Ismedhai is a separate entity from Hyatt and changes appearance at will; "canon" Ismedhai's "true form" really is the devilish Hyatt appearance, because he's a direct derivation from og Hyatt.

I mused a few times before about Ismedhai taking Zephyr's form in this AU for shits and giggles, so I took this opportunity to draw him. :) How do you like him?

Oh I like all of them!! I have even more AUs for them that I never got around drawing, mostly from my early brainrot stage when they were fresh new OCs.

From the ones you guys are familiar with, if I have to pick one, maybe puppy!Hyatt AU. It's a very simple premise - regular human guy cares for another animal-eared, puppy personality human - with zero profound lore, just a fun little playground for kinky musings. 

I enjoy exploring different dynamics between these characters so I'm fond of all of them really!

Oh that's an insightful question! Hikaru and Dylan's sexual relationship is indivisible from their professional relationship; they're one and the same, as Dylan maintains control over Hikaru's life both as a manager and a partner. Also, an idol's retirement is usually a matter of when rather than if. When the time inevitably comes, I believe Dylan ends his contract with Hikaru and takes his leave with little cerimony. There's a purpose to their symbiotic bond, so as soon as that purpose (Hikarin's success, Hikarin themselves as a persona and symbol) is gone, he's moving on... leaving a damaged Hikaru behind.

This is only one of the possible futures I can see for them, though! I also like a scenario in which Hikaru themselves musters up the will to end their contract (and by extension, their relationship) with Dylan, and interrupts their idol career themselves - to seek for healing and finding what they actually would want to do instead.

I don't have an "endgoal" planned for Hikaru and Dylan - every possibility could be on the table. For now I like exploring the present of their relationship; the uncertainty of whether it'll perpetuate or ultimately end - positively or negatively - is part of the interest!
