Exile (feat Bon Iver) Reaction

I had no idea that Taylor and Justin Vernon from BON IVER had ever worked together. Their voices sound amazing on this track, and somehow they're able to do it from hundreds of miles away.  Also, I am FINALLY watching the Disney+ versions of these songs, so I discuss the opening scene as well.

Comments

This one is about a broken relationship where the guy hasn't moved on and she has. He doesn't understand and she's like I gave you so many signs this was not working.

Starbuck1234!

TBH I don't think it's about cheating or jealousy - my interpretation is that it's about a relationship gone sour for multiple reasons like miscommunication, too much exposure, and pressure from the media, and then watching as an outsider/the public as the other person moves on - "you were my crown, now I'm in exile seeing you out".
